A fully renovated 1930s mountain cabin set on 2.5 private acres with a peaceful creek, modern comforts, and easy access to North Georgia’s best hiking, lakes, wineries, and small-town charm.
The space Welcome to Basecamp Retreat — a thoughtfully restored 1930s cabin that keeps its original mountain character while adding the modern upgrades guests actually want. Warm, inviting, and comfortable, it delivers the cabin experience without sacrificing convenience.
Set on 2.5 private wooded acres, the property includes a gentle stream and open space to explore, relax, and unplug. It’s quiet, scenic, and feels tucked away — yet you’re only minutes from lakes, trails, dining, and local attractions.
We call it Basecamp because it’s your launch point for everything North Georgia has to offer — and the perfect place to return after a full day out.

We are on a sensitive septic tank. Please only flush toilet paper. No grease or food down the kitchen sink please as it will ruin our septic.
To respect our neighbors and the local wildlife, please keep noise to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Sound carries far in the mountains.
Our beautiful creek is for your enjoyment, but please note there is no fence around the yard or water. Parents are always responsible for supervision.
