Everything you'd want in a Maine cabin get-a-way! The cabin was perfect for our visit and exactly as described. Tom and his wife were excellent hosts and had thoughtfully stocked the cabin. The outside space was amazing and the views were perfect! We will definitely be back again!

The host were excellent! you couldn't ask for better hospitality. The stay was good but we feel the inside of the cabin could have been much cleaner. We found spider webs and things on the floor and the throw blankets had stains on them. It is a very nice location but a ways to lug everything in for an older couple. The children next door on the last day were quite loud. We were looking for total tranquility.Once again the host were most excellent!

Thank you for your feedback and high review. To clarify for future guests, we accommodated this party who arrived 3 hours prior to normal check in time. We are disappointed that you felt the cottage could have been cleaner and have spoken to our cleaning crew to address the issue. We appreciate your kind words about our hospitality and glad you thought it was a very nice location.
The Point is a quintessential Maine cottage. Complete with a charming sleeping porch! Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Kitchen has everything you need, and we enjoyed using the grill provided. Beautiful views, the perfect restful vacation spot we were looking for! Amanda and Thomas are great hosts, readily available but not intrusive at all. I couldn’t recommend more.
Great place to sit and unwind by the lake! Easy and informative check in, access to the dock and kayaks, lots of nature to check out! Friendly hosts that make you feel welcome!
