The Space:

Located on the third-floor of the Lodge at The Rise Retreat here in Blairsville, this suite offers plenty of comforts for a perfect romantic getaway or solo adventure in the North Georgia Mountains. Venture out a bit to discover several local attractions including Vogel State Park, Helton Creek Falls, the Blood Mountain Overlook, and the cities of Blairsville and Helen for excellent shopping dining all within 25 miles of this property.



Named after Emma Gatewood, the first woman to hike the Appalachian Trail alone at the age of 67, The Emma suite boasts a comfortable king-size bed as well as a coffee maker, TV, mini-fridge, and complimentary internet access.



During your visit, enjoy access to a wide variety of shared amenities including a large covered and furnished deck with an outdoor gas fireplace, two firepits, and a fun-filled, lower-level game room with classic arcade games, vending machines, a TV, full-size pool table, virtual reality area, ice machine, and poker table. The MacKaye Conference Room is available for guest rental as well.

Cute space, beautiful location!

We had a great stay! The Emma room is on the 3rd floor end above the conference area so it was very quiet. Bed was comfy and the room and bathroom are spacious. The area around the lodge is beautiful and we loved the porch. Fridge was noisy at night and ice machine was broken but overall our stay was great!
