Love Bird - The Perfect Nest!

When it's time for the two of you to break away, Love Bird is the place to be. Cozy up with everything you need to make your weekend memorable. The fully equipped kitchen and gas grill make it easy to prepare meals. Experience the sounds of nature on the screened in porch or watch television from the bed or in the living room. Evenings can be spent by the wood burning fireplace, in the hot tub on the screen porch or in the heart shaped jacuzzi by the bed. Helen is an easy six miles away for groceries, restaurants, shops, and more!

This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $25 + tax for each additional.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Love Bid is available to families or to guests 21 years or older.
• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: The road is dirt and gravel. Road not suitable for low profile vehicles
• Pets: Pets are allowed at Love Bird.
• Location: 7.5 miles to downtown Helen.

Nice place to stay

The property was as advertised and not too far from town. This was a great place to stay with our two dogs with quick access to town and hiking trails.

Great place/quiet area

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful secluded cabin, quiet area. One downfall was trees touch each aspect of the cabin, except the driveway sides. Sitting on screened porch was nice, just no view. If you’re looking for a view, this is not it. But if you are looking for very quiet and secluded, this is the place for you! And there were bees in the entry way walk that were very interested in what we were doing. I called about them, but didn’t hear anything about resolving them, other than they would have someone look at them. You couldn’t be around the cabin other than the screened porch, due to the bees flying at and around you.

Amazing cabin in the woods

This property was a very nice cabin and we enjoyed our alone time there. The only issues we ran into was the driveway into the property and the key code did not work on our second day. Just know if you are not in a larger truck you will bottom out when pulling in and out of the property at the main road. We were in a SUV and scrubbed both entering and leaving. A sedan style vehicle would not be able to pull into the driveway. The issue with the key code not working was easily resolved when calling the after hour number. The male that answered took about 10 minutes to call back with a new code. This cabin is a great couples getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Love Bird, the cabin was very nice (and has a great burnt wood smell). I like how private it is in the woods. The hot tub was already on when we arrived and was a nice amenity. The one thing that was negative about our experience was that we had no access to the wifi the entire time we were down there. Wifi -is- provided, however while we were able to connect to the network it was receiving no internet signal, rendering it useless. Cell service here is very poor, often cutting off our communication to the world outside and making it to where we were unable to get ubers or find information on places around us unless we drove into town for better reception. The host said that the service provider would be by after our stay, but still, that didn't help our situation. It was a very nice stay overall, and a beautiful property. But the wifi situation did hamper the experience

Love Birds Anniversary Stay

The cabin is secluded and private which we enjoyed. The cabin itself was very clean upon arrival, everything functioned as expected. My only negative comment is the mattress was hard and has probably met its life expectancy.

Usually where ever We go the hut tub is too cold but not this one. The First couple day was rainy when We been there and it was so nice to sit in the hot water and listen the rain. The cabin is well equiped, the kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice dinner. We will definetly go back

Roaches/spiders/leaking roof

My experience was very disappointing I wanted a great getaway with my wife for our anniversary and needles to say it was not even close ,the bugs were definitely not romantic and too find out when we were leaving there was piss stays on the bed cover I will definitely need to speak to a manager and be compensated for my not romantic weekend and my wife wasn't impressed

Pretty nice

Was a beautiful place to stay , was very peaceful. The cleaning definitely needed to be better in the bathroom tub was hair all in ot to snd the shower line was dirty and The sheets had hair all in them. The love heart bathtub also had a lot of hair in it so could not use it. But overall we had a amazing time the here and the people who run the place checked in with us to make sure we were good.
