About this property

Spacious Lakeside Four-bedroom Home on pristine Crystal Lake in Harrison, Maine

Nestled along the peaceful shores of one of Maine's most beautiful and peaceful lakes, this spacious 4-bedroom lakefront home is the perfect basecamp for a family getaway.

When you stay at our Harrison Lakeside Retreat, you will wake up to brilliant sunrises that sparkle across pristine Crystal Lake. This is our favorite time of the day —drinking our morning coffee on the deck and enjoying the peaceful tranquility of the lake and woods. Listen for the woeful cry of the loon in the morning and evening. As you explore the lake in your kayak, you may even encounter a loon or two swimming nearby and diving under the water for food. Welcome to Maine lake life!

You can spread out comfortably across the large living area, four bedrooms and three bathrooms which offer plenty of room for the whole family. The home is thoughtfully set up for lake living — easy access to the water, open gathering spaces, and views that never get old.

Here are some details about the home itself:
The spacious primary bedroom on the second floor features a king bed, a large bureau, a TV and an updated ensuite bathroom with a roomy walk-in shower.

Bedrooms number one and two are both on the main floor. Each room has a queen size bed, a bureau, a large closet, and a TV. They share a full bathroom that has a bathtub/shower combo and is located off the central hallway.

Bedroom number four is located on the lower level and it features a king size bed, along with a desk, bureau, and closet. There is a three-quarter bath on this floor as well.

The ground floor also includes a large family recreational area with toys, games, puzzles, books, a ping-pong table, a foosball table, and a television – everything you need for nighttime fun or entertainment on a rainy day.

The kitchen is equipped with every utensil and small appliance you will need to prepare meals during your visit. The outdoor grill is located on the deck and is supplied with propane from the house.

The newly constructed sunroom is a great place to relax with a good book or cup of coffee.

Central air conditioning is available to keep you comfortable if the weather gets too hot. If you decide to utilize the air conditioning, please close all doors and windows to maximize efficiency and save money.

Step outside onto the expansive newly constructed lakeside deck — the heart of the property. It's the ideal spot for morning coffee, alfresco meals, evening s'mores, or simply soaking in those gorgeous Crystal Lake views. With plenty of room for the whole group, you'll find yourself spending more time out here than inside. There are plenty of Adirondack chairs on the) overlooking the lake. Sit back, relax, Enjoy Life, the Way it Should Be!

Head straight down to your own private dock and waterfront area. Launch the included kayaks (5) and explore Crystal Lake at your own pace. Whether the kids are jumping off the dock or you're fishing in the early morning quiet, the water is yours to enjoy all day long.

The surrounding Lakes Region offers incredible outdoor recreation just minutes away — from scenic hiking trails to local farms, shops, and restaurants. This is Maine-- the way it's meant to be experienced.

About the host

Hosted by Mary Lentine

Host profile image
We are your hosts, Mary and Paul Lentine and we want to welcome you to our get-away home in beautiful, friendly Harrison, Maine. Our full-time home since retirement is in St. Augustine, Florida, but prior to retiring, we lived in Raymond, Maine (just down the road) for 18 years. Our strong ties to the area brought us back five years ago. We bought this home in March, 2026, and we have been working on improving the property for the past several months. We hope you enjoy the home and lake and all the area has to offer.

Why they chose this property

Harrison, Maine, is known as the Friendly Village, and we think you will find it to be just that. Just down the street, you will find two village landmarks--The Village Tie-Up and the Long Lake Creamery. When you don't want to cook, the Village Tie-Up has a wide and varied menu of take-out options to fit the bill. And what better way to enjoy a summer evening, than with a freshly scooped ice cream cone or sundae.

What makes this property unique

Our home, affectionately known as "Lentine Lakeside Lodge" is a spacious home (3800 sq. ft) with 150 ft. of waterfront. There are 5 kayaks for your use as well as a dock and swim float. With an eastern exposure, you will enjoy beautiful sunrises each morning from the expansive dock or the newly built sunroom. And for any rainy days or quiet evenings at home, there are plenty of games and puzzles as well as a ping pong table and foos ball table!
