I do not understand how this property received a 9 rating. When we arrived it was so hot, fairly normal for Hawaii, we turned on the ac units in the bedrooms and they worked well. The ac units would not turn on, the remote didn’t work even after changing some batteries from other remotes. The control panel had holes punched on where the control buttons should be. The light in the first bathroom was burned out, the other bathrooms toilet had a broken seat reminiscent of a bucking barrel and handle was so loose and sloppy it wouldn’t flush. I tightened it up as much as I could but it was so old and worn out my wife just lifted the lid off the tank to flush it, for two weeks. The washing machine was so dirty and covered in sand she had to scrub and clean in a hot sticky room was our welcome. I opened the large notebook for the property details and such and it was one page of the the things and way we couldn’t smoke at or around the property, no biggie for us we don’t smoke anything, but no WiFi info door lock info tv stuff, absolutely nothing helpful. Everything looks old dirty and gross. I’m not a snob, I love Hampton inns, springhill suites etc., but it was such a punch in the face to spend the time and money to get to Princeville and find our accommodations old dirty and broken. My first thought was does anyone even check this place out before they rent it to people. No room for the actual review, it’s a 1-2 out of 10, not nine. The hurricane came and it gotWay worse
