The Whale's Tail has an open air bar on the beach side where you can walk up in your swimsuit and flip flops to get your favorite summer drink! (They also have restrooms that you can access.) Walk to Bad Ass Coffee, DQ, Beach Bar and more. Surf Hut, Pompano Joe's, and Acme Oyster are only a mile away. Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Reset thermostat to 75 degrees for AC and 60 degrees for heat.
On your last day up from the beach PLEASE spray off used beach chairs at the shower area in the south end of the parking lot and leave inside back porch to dry.

We rented this unit as Snowbirds for 10 years. We love the area so when it came up for sale in 2026, we decided to purchase it. It's an end unit so there's nobody above or below you and there's an abundance of light/windows on the South side. You wake up every morning with a view of the lake. The beautiful beach being so close, the restaurants and breweries, and especially the Whale's Tail make this location, in our opinion, the best! Please let us know if you need recommendations for restaurants, things to do, or what to pack! - David & Jawan
