Whimsical Windsor - Private Year Round Headed & Cooled Pool Oasis Near Oldtown

I love creating spaces where people can relax, have fun and feel at home. Whimsical Windsor reflects a lot of my personality as I enjoyed this home for over 15 years raising my daughter there —I enjoy unique touches, a little bit of whimsy, and especially all the small details that can make a trip easier and more enjoyable, especially the kitchen.

As a host, I try to think about the things I appreciate when I travel and provide those for my guests. That means a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of coffee choices, comfortable beds, pool towels, spaces to gather together and also places to spread out when you need some quiet time.

I especially enjoy hosting families and groups who are in Phoenix for vacations, sporting events, spring training, celebrations or simply some Arizona sunshine. My goal is to be available and responsive when you need me while also giving you the privacy to enjoy the home as your own. Long-term stays are welcome!

More than anything, I want guests to leave Whimsical Windsor feeling like the house was part of what made their trip special.

The location is one of my favorite things, you can get just about anywhere in town in 20 minutes. The home is in the Lower Arcadia area, just south of Camelback Mountain, where you get the feel of an established residential neighborhood while still being incredibly close to both Phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale.

Old Town Scottsdale and Scottsdale Stadium are only about 8 minutes away, downtown Phoenix & ASU/Tempe is approximately 15 minutes away, and Sky Harbor Airport is also conveniently close. You're surrounded by great restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, hiking, golf and many of the places people come to Arizona to enjoy. Ask me for recs!

I also love having Old Cross Cut Canal Park within about a 10-minute walk. It's nice to be able to get outside for a walk without having to drive somewhere first. There is also a biking/walking trail just a few blocks away.

For families traveling for sports, the central location is especially convenient. Many of the Valley's sports complexes and facilities are within approximately 30 minutes, making Whimsical Windsor a great home base for tournament weekends.

It's the combination I love most: a quiet place to come home to with so much of Phoenix and Scottsdale right at your fingertips.

Whimsical Windsor isn't a cookie-cutter vacation rental. The home has personality, color, and as the name suggests—a little bit of whimsy, while still being comfortable and functional for families and groups.

The private pool is one of the biggest things that sets the property apart. It's truly designed to be enjoyed year-round: we heat it during the cooler months and can actually cool it during the hottest part of the Arizona summer. Best of all, there is no additional pool heating or cooling fee.

There's also plenty of room to spread out. The home has two separate living areas, three bedrooms with exceptionally comfortable beds, five beds total, a dedicated private office and multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Outside you'll find a large private backyard, covered patio and a separate deck with seating for approximately 11.

We've also added the kinds of extras that make vacations easier—a well-stocked kitchen, alkaline drinking water, extra ice maker, multiple coffee options, plenty of pool towels and other thoughtful conveniences.

For families coming to Phoenix for sports, we even have a wagon, folding chairs, water bottles and a small cooler available for tournament days.
