Wonderful Place to Stay

We had a great time at this home. The layout was spacious and the surrounding area is beautiful. The driveway is steep enough to allow children to go sledding, and the bunk beds make for a great fort when not being slept in. By the end of the weekend we had kids saying they don't want to leave -- success.

Our stay was very calming and welcomming. The only thing I would recommend is that there would be directions on how to use the ice machine,

Access to the property should be advertised as appropriate for 4 wheel drive high clearance vehicles only. Fortunately, I have a Toyota Tundra. A regular car would be a challenge. The cabin is out dated and cluttered. I would not rent it again. The area around the cabin has tires, junk, broken glass and other debris.

4/10 Poor

Remote

The home is remote and quiet. The road getting in is very steep and a SUV or truck is ideal. A low car would not make it. The home is surrounded by nature.

Little too remote

This home was to far out in the middle of nowhere for what we wanted. I was there with my 16 year old daughter and her friend. 3 Females in the woods and Having no cell service and being on SOS as well as the driveway if you had a car would not work. The home was 20 minutes down a dirt road, the purpose of our trip was to be out and about checking out things. This home would have added 3 additional hours of travel to our daily routes. There is nothing conveniently located places in this area of Colorado.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us, Jenn. We’re sorry to hear that the home’s location didn’t quite meet your expectations. While we love the peaceful and secluded vibe it offers, we get that it can feel a bit distant if you were hoping for more convenience or closer access to attractions. It’s meant to be a calming getaway from the everyday hustle and bustle, but we completely understand that it might not fit your travel plans perfectly. We truly appreciate your honest feedback and hope to have another chance to wow you in the future.
