We had a wonderful stay in Bad Ischl, and Ellen and Ludwig were excellent hosts who couldn’t have made us more welcome! We had never been to this area of Austria before and recommend it most highly - a great place for an outdoor holiday.

We were made to feel very welcome by Ellen in this beautifully located house. Ellen had thought of everything in her the well equipped kitchen and house and nothing was too much trouble. We had never been to Austria before - the town and lakes are beautiful. We had such a lovely stay. Cannot recommend enough.

Beauttiful home with excellent hosts

The four of us had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home for 4 days. The moment we got off our car, Ellen and Ludwig welcomed us and showed us their home: an elegant two story house painted in bright "Teressa Yellow" facing a picturesque creek running through the center of town Bad Ischl. The inside of the house is even more impressive with spacious rooms, tasteful decorations, and two newly renovated full baths. Every corner of the house is extremely clean and pleasant. The kitchen is fully equipped, even loaded with fresh breads on the counter and a box of Austrian drinks in the refrigerator. Ellen and Ludwig were very helpful and gave us many good tips. Bad Ischl is a lovely town surrounded by a few beautiful lakes and mountains. You could spend the day nearby with a ton of activities, or simply lay back starring at waters and mountains. We really enjoyed the cozy house, it's convenient location and the breathtaking views seen in the lake area. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

Tolle Tage

Wir haben Bad Ischl sehr genossen und die Unterkunft war superspitze. Die Lage sehr zentral und die Wohnung klasse. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Auch die Vermieter sind sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben viele Ausflüge gemacht und sind auf Sisis Spuren gewandelt.

Frühsommer in der Villa Max

Wir, zwei Paare 70+ haben in der schönen und geschichtsträchtigen Villa Max eine Woche verbracht. Familie Büll hat uns sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereit aufgenommen und uns mit vielen Tipps versorgt. Reichlich Obst, Prosecco ,Salatöl, Essig,Gewürze, Kaffeekapseln von Tschibo und Milch standen für uns bereit. Blumenschmuck in der Wohnung und auch draußen erfreute uns sehr. Dieses großzügige separate Ferienhaus war gut für unsere Bedürfnisse eingeteilt. Besonders schön war die zentrumsnahe Lage und die Parkmöglichkeit in der abschließbaren Einfahrt. Die zwei neuen Bäder und der neue Fußboden waren sehr komfortabel. Zu dieserJahreszeit war der herrliche Garten ein Genuss. Sowohl vom Wohnzimmer als auch vom Zweibettzimmer im EG aus konnten wir ihn genießen. Die gelegentlich vorbeifahrende Bahn störte überhaupt nicht.

Mein Aufenthalt - alles top!

Das Haus ist top hergerichtet, alles sauber und funktioniert. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und ruhig, man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzliche Leute und haben bei Fragen schnell reagiert. Gerne wieder :)

Traum in Ischl

Wir haben eine tolle vorweihnachtliche Zeit in einem wunderschönen Haus verbracht, alles super gewesen und keinerlei unangenehme Überraschungen. Durch die tolle Lage an der Traun konnten wir auch 3 Tage lang auf das Auto verzichten (für die bereitgestellten Fahrräder wäre es wohl zu kalt gewesen…). Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Villa Max, Bad Ischl

Meine Töchter und ich verbrachten drei Tage in Bad Ischl, um das vorweihnachtliche Salzkammergut zu entdecken und um kleine Einkaufstouren bis nach St. Wolfgang und Salzburg zu unternehmen. Die Villa Max liegt dafür gut und zentral. Das Ferienhaus ist nett und komfortabel eingerichtet, alles ist frisch renoviert. Besonders gefiel uns auch der Blick auf den wunderschön gepflegten, großen Garten, auf die vorbeifließende Traun und die umliegenden Berge. Alles sehr schön und stimmungsvoll- wir möchten gerne wiederkommen!

Tolles Haus, phantastische Lage, wundervolle Gastgeber – wir kommen sicher wieder!

Wir haben uns hier sofort rundum wohlgefühlt: das Haus ist frisch renoviert, hat eine große Küche und ein neues Bad, und nicht zu vergessen: einen herrlichen Garten samt Terrasse – da stört es gar nicht, dass hin und wieder die Regionalbahn vorbeifährt, es ist eine idyllische Ruheoase. Apropos Verkehr: die Lage ist ideal im Herzen von Bad Ischl, man kann alles leicht zu Fuß erreichen: vis a vis das berühmte Zauner’s Grand Cafe an der Esplanade, da kann man wunderbar über vergangene und kommende Zeiten sinnieren. Und ein paar Schritte entlang der Ischl ist man mitten in der Einkaufszone mit hübschen Geschäften, netten Lokalen und dem herrlichen Kurpark zum Flanieren. Herz, was willst du mehr? Viel Herz haben auch die Gastgeber, Ludwig und Ellen, die als begeisterte Wanderer auch viele tolle Tipps für Ausflüge im Salzkammergut haben – und wenn einem der Sinn nach Action steht, auch da gibt es jede Menge zu erleben! Alleine, zu zweit oder mit der ganzen Familie. Kurzum: wir kommen sicher wieder, egal welche Jahreszeit, das ist der ideale Ort zum Seele baumeln lassen.
