Welcome to The Beverly Cottage on Hemingway Lake
Escape to the peace and privacy of The Beverly Cottage, a secluded lakefront retreat tucked into the woods on beautiful, private Hemingway Lake.
Surrounded by nature, the cottage offers a true getaway with approximately 200 feet of woods on each side of the home and 10 wooded acres behind the property. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee on the large lakefront deck, spending the afternoon on the water, or relaxing by the lake as the sun goes down, The Beverly is a place to slow down and enjoy being together.
The cottage comfortably accommodates up to six guests with three bedrooms featuring two queen beds and one full bed, along with two bathrooms with showers.
Just steps from the cottage, enjoy everything Hemingway Lake has to offer. Swim, fish, kayak, or take the rowboat out for a quiet trip around the lake. Guests have access to a rowboat and four kayaks, making it easy to spend the day exploring and enjoying this peaceful private lake.
After a day outside, settle in on the spacious deck overlooking the water, enjoy the quiet of the surrounding woods, and experience the kind of privacy that's getting harder to find.
Whether you're planning a family getaway, a relaxing weekend with friends, or simply looking for a quiet place to unplug, The Beverly Cottage offers a private Michigan lake experience surrounded by woods, water, and nature.

Hemingway Lake has always been a special place for our family. I grew up on this lake, and some of my favorite memories were made right here.
The lake itself is part of our family’s history. Years ago, my grandfather transformed several ponds on his farmland into the lake that our family has enjoyed for generations.
The cottage is named The Beverly in honor of my mother. It was always her dream to build a cottage here on the lake, surrounded by the woods and the place our family loved so much.
Today, we're fortunate to be able to share this special place with others. We hope you’ll enjoy the peaceful lake, the woods, and the time spent with family and friends here as much as our family has over the years.

The cottage is tucked into the woods, with mature trees surrounding the property and creating a wonderful sense of privacy. One of our favorite parts of being here is waking up in the morning to a lake that can be as still as glass, with the sound of birds in the surrounding woods and the calm water just outside your door.
Hemingway Lake has designated no-wake hours before 11:30 a.m. and after 7:30 p.m., which helps preserve that peaceful atmosphere. Mornings are especially beautiful for kayaking, fishing, or enjoying a quiet cup of coffee by the water. In the evening, the lake settles down again, creating a wonderful setting to relax and enjoy the end of the day.
