Freshly renovated non-smoking holiday apartment on the upper floor of a 130-year-old half-timbered house. Like almost all buildings in Goslar's old town, the house is a listed monument and part of a protected area. The apartment extends over the upper floor and the attic, which are connected by an internal staircase. The ground floor apartment is permanently rented. The house is located in the eastern part of the old town, and the market square is a 5 to 10 minute walk away.
A fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms with showers, one bedroom, a living room, and a combined living and sleeping area in the attic are available for relaxing days in Goslar. The exterior of the house still needs renovation, but the apartment itself has been lovingly renovated using natural building materials such as clay and hemp, and furnished in a modern style while preserving the original character.
The spacious bedroom faces the courtyard and is equipped with a king-size bed. In the living room, the old timber framing is particularly striking. Here, you can make yourselves comfortable on the couch or enjoy sociable evenings at the large dining table. The couch offers an additional sleeping place for two people. The kitchen is optimally designed for the small space and provides everything you need for cooking. One bathroom is accessible from the kitchen, the second is in the attic. Both bathrooms have a toilet and shower.
The original charm of the house is reflected in the many nooks and crannies. Depending on the weather, you may hear the creaking of the timber beams. For your own safety, please always use the handrail on the stairs, as the steps are individually aligned.
