Modern, cosy cottage "1 Railway Cottage", 2 storeys, semi-detached. In the district of Dalraddy, 6 km from the centre of Aviemore, 1.4 km from the lake, 19 km from the skiing area. Private: garden with lawn. Garden furniture, parking at the house. Shop 200 m, supermarket 5 km, restaurant 1 km, bus stop "Dalraddy" 300 m, railway station "Aviemore" 6 km. Ski lift 19 km. Nearby attractions: Cairngorm National Park, Highland Wildlife Park 8 km, Inverness 54 km, Landmark Forest Adventure Park 16 km, Highland Folk Museum 18 km. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Cairngorm Ski Resort 19 km, The Lecht ski resort 60 km. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Loch Morlich 14 km, Loch Garten 20 km, Loch Ness 74 km. Please note: car recommended. Only 200 meters from the property is the amazing Cabin Coffee, a perfect way to start your day. Next to that is Alvie Forest Food, they share seasonal ingredients foraged, grown and reared on Alvie and Dalraddy Estates.

Open kitchen (4 hot plates, oven, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, microwave, freezer). Bath/shower/WC. Upper floor: 1 double bedroom with 1 double bed. 1 double bedroom with 2 beds. Patio. Terrace furniture. Facilities: washing machine. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smoking house. Maximum 1 pet/ dog allowed. TV only EN. Smoke alarm. We had an amazing week at Railway Cottage, a really comfortable cottage with everything we needed and more, the bed was so comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped and the location was perfect for us. The weather was perfect, a week wasn't long enough for us.....We even got used to the trains, my rescue dog was terrified the first day, but by day 4 she just didn't even flinch, testament to how settled she was, I absolutely loved my stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again if I came back this way.

The cottage itself is lovely, and perfect for our family of 3 plus dog. Lovely garden to sit out in, and kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Very close to the railway line, which didn’t bother us. Awesome views from the front of the property. The property is operated by Interhome, which lead to the only downsides to our stay - having to pay in Euros and all the confirmation emails being in German.
