Traditional markets, equestrian events, the Christmas market, and many other events ensure there’s plenty to do in Warendorf.
Cyclists will find a wide selection of bike paths in and around Warendorf. The Ems Bike Trail and the 100 Castles Route have been among the most popular bike trails in the Münsterland region for years. The old town of Telgte, the Four Seasons Park in Oelde, and Harkotten Castle near Sassenberg are great destinations for day trips. You can also reach Münster (approx. 31 km) by bike on a ride through the parkland. Alternatively, you can take the train for a day trip to Münster. Canoe trips on the Ems are highly recommended.
