Beachcomber Hohwacht

We drew inspiration for our holiday home, “Strandgänger Hohwacht,” from the magnificent view of the Sehlendorf Inland Lake Nature Reserve. The character of the house is defined by the presence of wood, which creates a connection to nature for us.
Our architects brought our vision to life with great attention to detail.
The “Strandgänger Hohwacht” invites you to linger, fully enjoy nature, and take long walks on the beach.

The “Strandgänger Hohwacht” offers nearly 110 square metres of space for 4 to a maximum of 6 people (including 2 children).

Two separate entrances lead to the hallway and the utility room, which features a coat closet, washing machine, and dryer.
From the spacious hallway, you can access the ground-level bedroom with a double bed, the two bathrooms, and the sauna.
The two bathrooms, featuring modern wall and floor tiles, are equipped with a window, a floor-to-ceiling shower, towel racks, a sink with a mirror, a makeup mirror, and a toilet. The modern sauna is directly adjacent to the larger bathroom.

The open kitchen is situated directly next to the window wall and serves as a connection between the living room, entryway, and outdoor area.

The kitchen’s linear layout makes it particularly spacious. In addition to the large refrigerator with freezer compartment, the kitchen also features a dishwasher, an induction cooktop with oven, a coffee maker, a toaster, a kettle, as well as dishes, glasses, and silverware.

The adjacent living area is very bright and filled with plenty of natural light thanks to the large windows. Both the living area, with its seating set and large flat-screen TV, and the dining area feature an open-concept design.
The fireplace is centrally located, so you can enjoy a view of the fire from both the dining area and the sofa in winter.

The staircase (slightly steeper than usual / no stair gate) leads to a cosy seating area that is open-concept and offers a panoramic view through a large dormer window. From a built-in bench, your gaze can wander far into the Sehlendorfer Binnensee nature reserve. A dream come true for any nature and bird lover.

The ground floor also features the two additional bedrooms. One features a full-size double bed, while the other has a single bed that can be converted into a double bed using a pull-out mechanism.
All bedrooms are equipped with storage options, either in the form of a closet or a chest of drawers. Nothing stands in the way of restful and cosy nights.

Outside the house, you can enjoy many hours of sunshine on the beautiful terrace.

There is a parking space in the carport as well as an additional parking space. The carport is equipped with a wallbox.

Use of the wallbox:

You have the option to charge your electric or hybrid vehicle using a wallbox at the property. After your stay, the cost of the electricity used will be deducted from your security deposit. If you have not paid a security deposit, it will be charged upon arrival if you wish to use the wallbox (€500.00 security deposit). You will only be charged for the electricity used to charge your vehicle!


A fiber-optic connection and Wi-Fi are available.
