Perfect Ski Cabin!
We had such a great time over the Holiday week between Christmas and New Years. This place is better than the pictures make it look, and the location is amazing. You cannot go wrong staying here, we will definitely be back! Thank you to the owners who did such a wonderful job!

We had a wonderful time with our family at this beautiful home over our Christmas vavation. The best features are a wonderful family room and lots of space for all.
The proximity to the village was a major plus and we all walked there several times a day - even the 3 yr old was able to make it.

Thank you for submitting your comments. We're glad you enjoyed your stay!
It was a bit tough finding the house at night during the rain. Otherwise it is a wonderful property with awesome pool for the kids. Will stay again for sure
Our family has stayed at this property multiple times. The home has room for all our family and is right on Homerun. We love it. The only downside, one has to bring the garbage to a place a drive feom the house.

Totally Perfect
We stayed here for the weekend of Tough Mudder. It was so nice to have a relaxing place to come home to after a day of crazy obstacles! The layout of the house is perfect for a big group. Everyone had a bed and the kitchen/dining room was perfect for us to all gather and refuel after a hard day! The proximity to North Star is awesome and all of us were gushing about how we want to come back when there is snow on the ground!

Thank you very much. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to your return soon.
Can’t wait to come back. We expected the place to be great but our expectations were exceeded. The place is beautiful inside and out. It’s right on the ski trail. True ski in and ski out. The kids had a great time playing in the snow. We got to relax and hang out inside the huge house. The owner was super responsive and friendly too.
This hous is filled with furniture from multiple generations. In the kitchen you can find ... whatever you need. We really liked the views and ease of access to ski slopes. Our favourite game inside the hous was "I spy", as there are so many intersting objects to "spy".Beds are comfortable.Lower level was a bit chilly (in March) but one can use space heaters. If you like to sleep late you would probably notice that there are no drapes on bedroom windows.

Amazing Location, Spacious and Well Equipped
We just had a great stay in this great property. The house is in an amazing location and only a very short walk to the Village and Highlands Gondola (Didn't use the shuttle bus once). Even though the snow was struggling, we could ski to the Gondola each morning which was awesome. We had 2 families with small children plus 2 sets of grandparents and the house had more than enough room to house us very comfortably. The kitchen is very well equipped. We hope to stay here again.
The owners are great. They were very responsive and accommodating. They also provide great instructions for the home.

Thank you for taking time to submit a review. We hope you will stay again soon. We are trying to get some more snow!
The location of this place is amazing in regards to being so close to the gondolas up to The Ritz Carlton and walking down to the village where shopping and restaurants are in abundance as well as skating and live music. Although the snow decided to wait until after we left it was great fun with family in a wonderful location!
I would like to say that there needs to be either a repair of the cooktop so all burners work or get a new one and a easily working fireplace would have been a great addition to the ambiance. I know a part was being waited on when we came but I hope the next family that comes to rent will get to enjoy these amenities!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Mixed bag
This property was a real mixed bag for us.
The good: The location is superb, true ski-in ski-out property, directly to/from the run under the Ritz gondola as long as there is deep enough snow.
The kitchen has lots of pots and pans, plenty of tools for cooking whatever you would want, prep sink, large pantry.
Now for the things we didn't care for about this house:
-No shades for privacy except for one living room window. Most of the bedrooms, bathrooms, even showers are exposed to anyone who might be walking by. Some of our group found their closets to be the only place they could change without risk of being in view.
-What's listed as the 5th bedroom is a rec room with two fold-out couches and an aerobed. The fold-out couches (not a futon as is pictured) are very worn and not comfortable for adults; they might be okay for kids.
-Cleaner missed cleaning a few areas before our stay: Popcorn in and under the fold-out couch, side table not dusted, a sink not cleaned out, trash left on a shelf.
-The part of the house in which the renter lives is not really separate bur rather a bedroom and bathroom that are just locked doors blocked off from the upstairs hall and bedroom by furniture. He has his own entrance to those rooms from outside but everything the tenant does (especially in the early morning) is audible from the upstairs bedroom. That also means the upstairs bedroom has no bathroom (this seems to have been built as a Jack & Jill situation originally).

Needs an update.
Property needs an update. It needs to be clean better. There was dog hair everywhere. Let people know there there will be Someone watching the property 24/7
Roomy, beautiful home. Convenient location and great communication. Onsite resident was super helpful and pleasant to help with questions. Wonderful stay.
We love staying in this property. The set up of the house is fantastic for our family. Everyone who is involved with the house is great and really helpful.
The location of this house can’t be beat. It’s literally a 3 min walk to the bottom of the gondola to the Ritz and a 5 min walk to the Village. The house looks so much better and bigger in person. Beautiful vaulted ceilings with wood beams. The pictures definitely don’t do it justice. However it does still need updating. Especially the furniture in the downstairs family room and the linens. There are no curtains so it’s bright in the morning. Not a deal breaker but there were also windows in the bathrooms which we weren’t comfortable with especially at night. Also there is no lock on the half bath door which was a bit inconvenient with a large group. The shower downstairs only has a hand shower with no mount so showering with one hand was challenging. Overall these were minor issues and the location and availability on Memorial Day Weekend made up for it. Communication with the owner was good too. We would definitely consider renting again especially if they fixed these minor issues.
We rented this home previously; our recent rental was 3/2022. This is a very nice home in a fantastic location; the location is an "11" on a scale of one to ten! Good owners that seem to care about providing a nice home at a reasonable price.
The home is showing it's age with the need for a paint refresh and a few maintenance items, but nothing that really impacts the use and enjoyment of the home.
My family's biggest complaint is that there are minimal window coverings in most rooms and NO window coverings in other rooms. We hope the owners will install some basic window coverings to darken rooms for day time nappers (kids) and privacy at night?!?
This season's snow was poor for us "ski-in, ski-out" home fans, but the house is so close to the village (Highlands Gondola) we were able to walk to/from the gondola to get up and down the hill. The great location allowed us to still have the feeling of a "ski-in, ski-out" home.
We hope to rent this home again next year.
