Disliked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
This stay fell well below basic expectations. We were not sent the access code as promised 24 hours in advance and had to text the host ourselves right before arrival to get into the building. We were given one roll of toilet paper for three people for an entire week and no essential supplies like dish soap. The TV remote was damaged and didn’t work due to dead batteries. The WiFi advertised was not actually for the houseboat but for the marina and was unstable at best. Communication was extremely poor—multiple emails went unanswered, including a simple question about whether the water was safe to drink. The pillows were like a wet sack of cotton balls and completely unusable, the pots and pans were dirty, and the outdoor areas were covered in spider webs. Despite advertising housekeeping services, we had to make our own beds and no one ever showed up with supplies. I also contacted Vrbo customer support and did not receive a response. Overall, this property was not properly maintained or managed and did not reflect what was advertised. We would not stay here again or recommend it.
