We really loved this property! Stayed A304-two sleeping areas two bathrooms upstairs downstairs with balconies overlooking the beach! Direct beach, access, with restaurants on property, another restaurant- Pangea-5 minute walking distance via walkway access stayed here through the Fourth of July! Modern appliances new washer, and dryer in the unit was great! Direct access to Owner and housekeeping, property management!

Easy access

This location was perfect, we had easy access to the beach, to the taxis, the restaurant, and to the morning coffee shop. We had a group stay throughout the resort and the beach outside of our balcony became the place to stay! The unit itself was perfect- plenty of enough room for the six adults that stayed and although we did not cook, there would’ve been plenty of supplies to make that easy! I hope to return someday!

The view was amazing. We ate at the new Sea Salt restaurant and it was the best seared tuna I have ever had The only negative was I didn’t realize the condo was on the third floor ( my fault, didn’t ask ) and getting luggage up was a b#*#h overall all , wonderful experience

Amazing get away

We arrived and got to the property no problem. Everything was as it was listed. Bianca is lovely and easy to chat with. She is very quick to respond. Perfect location and incredible stay!

My daughter (17) and I stayed for a week and we couldn't have been more pleased with the location and this property! Perfect stay right on the beach and 5 minute cab ride over to Red Hook and Ferry to St. John. Owner was attentive and answered all questions before, during and after our stay. Waking up to the beautiful views and being next to beach club bar was a plus for us (gets very lively on Sundays). Couldn't have been more pleased with our experience and we will be heading back and will pick to stay here again! One bedroom but the murphy bed is very comfortable downstairs so worked perfectly for us. Beach is beautiful / clean and welcoming (plenty of shaded areas for those that want to be out of sun). Sea Salt restaurant right on property was great option for nights we didn't want to go out. Loved everything about our stay here!

This was a group of 6 divers arriving last minute for ONE DAY to our marina from St. John and asking us if they can check in early and check out late. I really tried to help them since they need to bring equipment in (later I found out they just drag it from marina, full of sand). Since we had day before vacant, we allowed them to check in at 10 AM. They bring in all the diving equipment and left our condo full of sand and dirty that we have never ever seen before. This is the email we received confirming what that they wanted to check in little after 10 AM and what they bring to the condo for one day stay: "Hi Bianca, we have a slight problem, we have to check out of our villa on St John at 10am, Saturday, is there a way we could check in early? We have 7 suitcases and dive gear and don't have anywhere to really go with that much stuff, if not possible then maybe you have an idea of what we could do? My email is ----@--------.--- and my cell is ()…. , thx for your help, Lynette Anderson" We are not a hotel and we need to cover our expenses with additional cleaning fees even if they stay one night. Our condo is one of the most requested on VRBO, pictures are all genuine, it is clean and comfortable. Our guests love it as you can see from other reviews. Please do your own research and call me if you have any questions. Thank you.

Great place to stay in St. Thomas

I never thought the pictures could possibly live up to the actual condo, but they did! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo. It has everything you could need and was very comfortable. The views are amazing. The location is great - located near restaurants and shopping, but just far enough away for peace and quiet. Renovation was being done on other buildings, but we hardly noticed. The noise was very minimal. We rented a car and explored the island, but it would be very easy and just as fulfilling to stay here the entire time. It was such a nice, comfortable, and relaxing place to be! I would definitely stay here again on the next trip to St. Thomas. It is an unbelievable condo!

Breathtaking views from a Modern beachfront apartment

My wife, 3 year old daughter and I stayed 3 nights in this gorgeously renovated beachfront villa. It is clear that no detail was spared - from the furniture to the kitchen to the electronics, this place is all bells and whistles, and the 3 of us absolutely LOVED our stay here. The photos just cannot do justice to the views from this property - they are exquisite! The beach is wonderful and we snorkeled with the gear that was kindly provided by the owners every day. The pool is magnificent and all 3 of us, but particularly my daughter, couldn't wait to have our morning swim there. The owners were prompt with their communication and provided everything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Disappointing stay.

The property was located at the stunning location of Sapphire Beach but we were severely disappointed in our overall experience due to the unfortunate discovery of a cockroach infestation which was widespread in the lower level of the condo. The property owner was quick to respond to the cockroach issue, but only offered to contact housekeeping in the morning and no alternative accommodations were offered, and there was no assistance once we said we were not comfortable staying, especially with our young daughter. Decent stay

We recently came to St Thomas to visit some family and decided to stay with the group at Sapphire. The unit was nicely appointed, recently updated and the owners are very nice. The only complaint we had was the A/C.... it won't go lower than 75 and a HOT 75 at that... The unit is painful to operator and there are sensors on the door that shut the A/C off each time it's a door/window is opened. This causes it to become extremely warm each time you enter the unit from being gone as it shuts off as you leave.. considering the amount you pay per night, I'd like to have control over the temperature.

We are happy that our guest liked our new renovated condo. Since then, we have added a new Murphy bed and a very comfortable sofa bed. As part of our renovation, we had technician to install new thermostats that were initially set by default. We corrected the problem and now the temperature can be controlled manually to override the programmed temperature lower than 75F.

Great to be right on the beach!

We enjoyed our stay at this location. Bianca and Paul were very accommodating when a few mechanical issues in the condo came up. One issue got fixed very quickly; the other did not but it didn't affect us as we didn't use the upstairs bathroom (no hot water). I do have to say that I thought the pictures on the VRBO website "glammed up" this unit more than what reality presented. It was nice but it wasn't quite the five star accommodations I thought we'd be staying in based upon the internet. The couch on the main level is a bit tattered and the upstairs bed sheets/linens felt cheap and well-worn. That being said, the location is fantastic because you're right on the beach with nice scenery. It was very nice to be close to Red Hook where there are some restaurants, shopping, and the port if you decide to go to another island. Thanks to Bianca and Paul for hosting us; we appreciate it!

Beautiful spot

The location of this unit was great, and the view spectacular. I would have rated the unit a 5, but there were some important items that I discussed with the owner (distinct odor that permeated the lower level, a broken & hazardous glass table, and living room furniture different than in the VRBO pictures that was only able to accommodate 2 people versus 7 as advertised) that could have been handled differently to make our stay what we had envisioned when we chose the unit over other available condos. We brought these issues to the owner's attention the morning after our arrival and, while she surprisingly offered for us to immediately vacate the property for a full refund, neither leaving the unit nor a full refund was our hope in opening communications with her. We really did appreciate the later check-out she agreed to, as we had been requesting this for several weeks and had not heard back. I will return to Sapphire without question, but this experience has taught me to pay more attention to reviews that highlight owners that attempt to find solutions to guest concerns and issues, and that focus less on defending why those issues exist.

Sapphire Beach Condo

The condo was very nice and well maintained. Our only complaint would be the dining table and chairs which was very wobbly and did not fit the rest of the decor of the condo. In addition, the cushions on the outdoor furniture will very dirty and mildewy. The bed upstairs was very comfortable, as well as the murphy bed. The upstairs was very nice and the view was beautiful. Sapphire Beach Resort was in the process of being renovated so there was construction taking place during our stay, which was less than ideal. We were disappointed in the beach. It was very rocky and busy when the cruise ship passengers arrived. There was also a lot of seaweed, which was very surprising. The beach was not kept as clean as I would have expected either. The resort grounds were also not very well maintained. I was very disappointed to see the unkept tennis courts and surrounding grounds upon our arrival. It did not make for a very good first impression. Relative to the pristine beaches on St. John's I was very disappointed. It appears that the resort is in the process of some renovations, so hopefully it will be considerably improved. Overall, we were pleased with th condo, but disappointed with the resort and grounds.

We are happy that Cathy liked our place, however her 3-star rating actually hurt us. Some guests are expecting Ritz Carlton facilities. We are not Ritz Carlton, we are privately owned condo on amazing Sapphire Beach. If you stay with us, please do not rate on what may be very subjective or what we cannot control. The dining chairs are actually Philip Stuck design and it's minimalist design perfectly fit the condo. There is absolutely no mildew on outdoor furniture, we are having them periodically cleaned, the only problem is that the paint and stain of the pergola that was installed last year during the reconstruction is coming off when raining, therefore stains. In terms of beach, there is no beach on the St. Thomas island where you can have white sand access to the water (on the left) as well as coral reef (on the right) where you can snorkel and see coral fish. The beach and grounds are cleaned daily. Tennis courts are not advertised and currently not open. Pristine St. John beaches are in the National Park where there is no condos on the beach, but Sapphire beach is just as amazing like those on St. John. Sapphire Beach and Marina is currently undergoing 5-year capital renovation plan that will bring all area on the next level. Only one building is getting renovated per year and during off season only, so impact on the guests is limited. Soon to be completed renovation of the third building will be considerable improvement to the resort. Bianca

Condo as advertised but there is no office or free snorkel rental anymore. Condo itself was clean, well appointed,and overlooks the beach with fabulous views. Everything worked fine but you will have to turn on the AC units constantly because they turn off when you leave the property. Location is less than 5 minutes from red hook for ferry/charter boats or shopping/groceries/restaurants. The condo complex was in good shape except the pool area. The pool itself was usable but not lighted for evenings and the surrounding pergola area/bar is in complete disrepair from either a fire or storm damage. It could be a very nice addition to the property if properly fixed because of the natural beauty around it—but as is, it feels like a place to avoid. From what we saw, the beach at saphire is one of the best (although small) on the island. St Johns has even better beaches. On site bar/restaurant is right next to the condo but doesn’t spoil the view. Most nights the noise factor wasn’t really a problem because it shuts down fairly early but it was rented out for events some nights for our stay and the party went later. On night they must have forgotten to turn off the music because it was still going at 6am…but that only happened once. The food/drinks served were good. The restaurant above the bar “salt” was good but very pricey. You are paying for the views which you already have at this condo. We liked Tarpons Table on the warf in red hook for half the price.

Hello Bryan, overall sounded like you enjoyed fabulous views from the unit, clean and well appointed... except a couple of things. I don't want to sound defensive but here are some improvement you wan to consider to your next visit. Yes, we agree that swiming pool was eye sour. but we had a situation that COA doesn't own the swimming pool structure but own only water inside of the pool. It sounds crazy but it is true. land owner didnt approve us to refurbush pargola and other structure around pools. But we finally able to refurbush those 2 pargolas. One is already done and second one will be done sometime 3rd quarter of this year. AC is part of the Island power authority encourage us to save energy while you are not in the unit. Island have limited power supplies and it can trigger the power outages on the grid. But you can overwrite/control anytime to have desired temporature and keep it. Most restaurants on island, most ingridients are imported, add up shipping and tax. In any case, we hope you will give us another chance and come back again. Thank you,
