A spacious, bright hallway with a coat rack and sideboard leads to Vacation Apartment 1 in Haus Irene. This non-smoking vacation apartment is located on the first floor of the building. With 115 m² of space, it offers plenty of room for up to 2 to 4 adults plus 1 toddler up to 3 years old in a travel crib. The apartment, decorated in a nautical style, features a spacious living area with a cozy sofa corner, a coffee table, and a TV stand with a Smart TV. You’ll also find a fireplace for cooler days and a highboard. The apartment’s amenities are rounded out by Wi-Fi access. From the living area, you can step out onto your spacious, furnished, and covered southwest-facing terrace, which offers a view of the seaside resort architecture along Wilhelmstraße. Two separate bedrooms with two separate bathrooms enhance the apartment’s comfort. The first bedroom features a double bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m), adjustable slatted frames, nightstands, a smart TV, and a large closet. The second bedroom features a box-spring bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m), nightstand shelves, and a wardrobe. Both bathrooms, which receive natural light, are located directly next to their respective bedrooms. The first bathroom has a sink, a toilet, a hair dryer, a makeup mirror, and a bathtub. The second bathroom also has a sink, a toilet, and a shower. The open and spacious kitchenette is equipped with a stove with a ceramic cooktop, an oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a mini-oven, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, and a kettle. A large dining table in the center completes the room. Two small seating areas—one in front of the kitchenette and one in front of the living area—invite you to relax. A high chair and a travel crib are provided for our younger guests. A vacuum cleaner and a portable clothes dryer are also provided. Pets are welcome. A parking space (No. 01) and a lockable bike shed are located right next to the house. You can book an initial linen package (complete set of bed linens, 1 bath towel, 2 small hand towels) up to 14 days before arrival for an additional fee, or you can bring your own. Welcome - Vacation apartments in Sellin on Rügen at Haus Irene
Just as the bright green linden trees line Sellin’s Wilhelmstraße, they also form a colorful contrast to the numerous white villas built in the so-called “Bäderarchitektur” style, to which our Haus Irene also belongs. Built during the summer resort season of 1908 by master carpenter Wilhelm Hinz, this guesthouse—which primarily hosted city dwellers eager for the beach—has been lovingly restored in recent years. Today, three modern, spacious, and bright vacation apartments—each accommodating up to four people—offer a cozy temporary home. Bakeries, various restaurants and cafés serving both regional and international cuisine, a hair salon, a drugstore, a pharmacy, banks, and various shops are all located in the immediate vicinity and can be reached in just a few minutes on foot. You can also reach the pier—the landmark of the second-largest Baltic Sea resort on the island of Rügen—just as quickly on foot. The Sellin pier has been immortalized on countless postcards. It is the town’s landmark. It is the longest pier you can walk across, stretching 400 meters over the water. The stops for the “Bäderbahn” (which is free for guests of the Baltic Sea resort), the bus that takes you to Sellin’s four districts, and other public transportation are also located not far from the house.
