Welcome to the “Am Tief” holiday home! This spacious and cosy holiday home spans 140 m² and can accommodate up to seven people—perfect for families, groups, or couples looking to enjoy a relaxing holiday by the coast.

The house spans two floors and offers plenty of space for relaxation and rest. The open-concept living and dining area is bathed in natural light and invites you to linger. A modern kitchen, equipped with a ceramic cooktop, oven, refrigerator with freezer, Nespresso capsule machine, electric kettle, toaster, SodaStream, and dishwasher, allows you to prepare delicious family meals. The directly adjacent living and dining area in the newly built addition features a cosy sofa area with a TV, as well as a dining table that seats eight people. Enjoy your meals at the large dining table or on the lovely terrace. Both spots offer a great view of the garden and the adjacent Larrelter Tief. The beautiful garden, with its lawn for sunbathing and outdoor furniture, is the ideal place for children to play and for adults to relax.

The holiday home features five tastefully furnished bedrooms, all equipped with blackout curtains and comfortable beds. On the ground floor, there is a bedroom with a 1.80-meter double bed (with a full-length topper), a closet, and a large en suite bathroom. This bathroom features a bathtub, a rain shower, a toilet, and a double sink. Also on the ground floor is another shower room with a walk-in shower, toilet, and sink, as well as a bedroom with a single bed. Upstairs (steep staircase with a high final step) are the three additional bedrooms: one with a great view of the canal, a 1.40 m double bed (full-length mattress), and a desk; the other two each have a single bed.

In addition, the house has a high chair (Tripp-Trapp), and in the basement (steep staircase and not yet renovated) there is a washing machine with a drying rack. The entire house has real wood flooring (tiles in the bathrooms, hallway, and kitchen) with underfloor heating. The main windows are equipped with fly screens.

Dogs are allowed; smoking is not permitted inside the house.

An electrical socket is available outside. A rowing boat is also provided free of charge for your use (without guarantee and at your own risk; we assume no liability), and there is a dock by the water. There is ample space for two cars in the driveway. A garden shed for storing bicycles you bring with you is also available.

The holiday home is located in idyllic Twixlum, a charming district of the seaport city of Emden. Surrounded by expansive fields and green meadows, the village offers the perfect blend of tranquility and proximity to the North Sea. In just a few minutes, you can reach Emden’s city centre with its maritime attractions, cosy cafés, and shopping opportunities. The harbour and Emden’s famous museums are also within easy reach. The surrounding nature invites you to take walks, bike rides, and excursions along the Ems River or to the nearby Dollart. An ideal location for those seeking relaxation and North Sea enthusiasts.

Right in Twixlum, behind the church, you’ll also find “Antjes Käsehuus,” a farm cheese dairy with an attached farm store and restaurant, where you can enjoy a lovely meal and relax.
