***SPECIAL OFFERING FOR OUR GUESTS: Home-style dinner on a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday night, prepared by an Amish family in their home, only a few minutes away. Country atmosphere on a dairy farm. There must be a minimum of 4 guests for Fannie's efforts. Make your reservations via the manager, Carol Gibson, 2-3 days in advance. $25/person minimum donation, $12 - children, ages 5 & under, free or a donation of your choice.
2-story cottage, built in 2014, sleeps 14 guests, (newly expanded accommodations in Lower Level) queen-size beds in all 4 bedrooms (cots available), sofa beds in den and lower level Tavern Room , laundry room, large eat-in kitchen, comfy great room with wifi, large TV on first and lower level, entertainment center, with window view overlooking scenic Fishing Creek. Lovely porch with wrap-around rear deck and adjoining screened-in porch off of the dining area. Fire pit overlooking the stream. Many trails are nearby for hiking, cycling, exploring and trail riding.

NJ moms getaway

This is our 5th stay at creekside cottage, love love love this beautiful little hideaway. Carol is great and is always a text away if we need anything. If you like winery's there is 3 within 15-20mins away . If you want a great experience book you won’t regret it .

Another wonderful stay!!

We love this Creekside Cottage!! It is so peaceful with the creek and has plenty of space for our extended family. Carol is wonderful to coordinate with and we have a fantastic time every time we stay!!

Family Trip

We enjoyed our 3rd trip to the Cottage. We sat out by the fire pit, played knock hockey and visited the nearby horses. Great place for family time.

Christmas weekend with family

Booked hime for a chrostmas weekend with family. House was very clean and cozy. The parlor room was kids favorite. Nice secluded area with Amish/Lancaster attractions close by. Would definitely consider staying again.

Creekside Haven

My wife, my sister and her husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at Creekside Cottage. The fall foliage was peaking during our stay, and the location of the house was beautiful. Sitting on the back porch in the morning sipping coffee while listening to the creek flowing over the rocks below was a great way to start the day. The house being in Amish and Pennsylvania Dutch country offered opportunity for numerous day trips around the area, which included a visit to Conowingo Dam for eagle photography, attractions around Lancaster and to Valley Forge. I'm an avid landscape and wildlife photographer, and Carol, the property manager, graciously provided me with a list of photography venues to visit, and I took over a thousand images that I'm now reviewing for post processing. This property is a great place for friends and family to get together and enjoy some food, fun and fellowship.

About the Owner:
Don Wagner - Southern Lancaster County has been my home for my entire life. I live 20 minutes away from Creekside Cottage and had been in the Real Estate business for many years. It has been my vision to create a place for guests to stay while visiting beautiful Southern Lancaster County. Creekside Cottage's manager, Carol Gibson, a retired elementary teacher, was also born and raised in Southern Lancaster County.
***Sadly, Don Wagner passed away on March 27, 2023. He is dearly missed by family and friends.

Why they chose this property

This property is adjacent to my country cabin and stables. The rich history and natural attractions in this area inspired me to build Creekside Cottage. Come learn, relax and explore this beautiful area!

What makes this property unique

I designed Creekside Cottage with comfort and efficiency in mind. The wood used for the kitchen island, kitchen table, walls in the den and Master bathroom all came from the trees on my property. If you stroll down behind the cottage, you will discover the most amazing natural rock wall. If you desire to visit an authentic Amish community, then this is your place.
