Waterfront! Beach Access! Near Town! Includes separate mother-in-law studio! Located close to the town of Friday Harbor and San Juan Golf and Country Club, this waterfront home offers spectacular Griffin Bay and Mt. Baker views. (Alba Vista)

The front door to Alba Vista opens on the middle level of the home. The living room, full kitchen, 1/2 bathroom, and dining room are all found on the main level. From each of these spaces you will enjoy amazing views including North Bay, Dinner Island, and Lopez Island. The full kitchen is stocked with lots of appliances and plenty of supplies for preparing meals. The living room offers plenty of seating for the whole group, as well as a Smart TV, DVD player, DVDs, and a variety of puzzles, board games, and books. The dining room is found to the right of the living room, with seating for 8 around the table. Guests will find access to the deck with the propane BBQ from the dining room, with plenty of outdoor chairs to enjoy a perfect summer night overlooking the bay. The deck is perfectly situated between the main house and the detached guest house.

On the top floor you'll find the spacious primary suite furnished with a king size bed. The primary bath offers a soaking tub also taking advantage of the wonderful water view. Also is equipped with dual sinks and a spacious tiled shower.

The lower level of the home opens to a full bathroom, fully equipped laundry room, an additional bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a studio-style space equipped with a cozy couch, a propane fireplace, and a Queen size bed. From the downstairs studio space, you'll find exterior access to the pebble beach.

Included in this rental is the charming, detached guest studio furnished with a queen-sized bed, coffee maker, microwave and Smart TV. Enjoy the water views from the sitting area with propane fireplace. The studio also includes a full bathroom.

10 minutes in any direction will take you to many of San Juan Island's beautiful beaches and parks including Jackson Beach, South Beach and American Camp or Mount Finlayson.

This house has good cell phone reception.

A/C is provided in the main house. There is NOT A/C in the detached guest studio.

Approximately a 10-minute drive to the Friday Harbor Ferry Terminal.

Great for friend trips

Perfect set up for our friends with kids. We love how close to town we are, but not right IN town. The only thing we aren’t a huge fan of is the downstairs smells like a cat box. If you live with cats, maybe it wouldn’t bother you. But overall we still love this house and hope to visit each year with our friends.

Beautiful waterfront location!

We loved our 4 night stay here! There are gorgeous water and mountain views from every bedroom, beach access, fully stocked kitchen, easy check in process, comfortable beds, and nice bathrooms. We’ve already recommended it to other family members, and we’d gladly stay here again.

San Juan Island - Alba

Overall experience was above average. Did call on Friday afternoon (9/13) to inquire about a lack of heat in the mother-in-law building roughly 4:00PM. Did not receive a response and resolution until the voice message was returned at 10:00am the following day. The problem was resolved but response was not timely. Only other issue was the lack of a "Rental Property Guidebook/Binder". The only house rules that were somewhat vague came in the form of an email. A Guidebook/Binder would have been helpful on how to get heat from all the gas fireplaces (3) as well as suggestions for Grocery Store, Restaurants, etc. Not having available coffee for at least the first morning was the biggest reason for not giving this a 5 Star Review.

Beautiful fall visit

Perfect layout for our 3 couple/3 generation family visit, with the guest house just on the other side of the deck. The views are amazing! You might see 2 deer peek in your window or a sea bird float past on a log, drying its wings. Management company was quick and helpful. Property address was well-marked so we found it easily after dark. Nice to have the beach access, we brought an inflatable stand-up paddle-board and explored along the coast.

Amazing home and location!

Thank you so much for making your beautiful waterfront home available through VRBO. I can’t imagine a nicer place to stay on the island for a large group. Everything was immaculate and the view was incredible from every room. Awesome artwork! We enjoyed our visit to San Juan Island and much of it was being able to stay at the Alba Vista.
