Stones was very well-equipped and the location is great. Convenient for relaxing and centrally located for walking to restaurants in Blowing Rock after a day of hiking. Very dog friendly! They even had dog shampoo and towels!
We loved it. My friend was able to bring her dog. We made friends with the people on the ground floor. It was cozy and close to everything. We would definitely book it again.
The location is perfect could walk to all of downtown Blowing Rock. Karen and Hantz the owners were in town and were great to have conversations with, both very easy going wonderful people. We have now stayed in two of their properties and will be back the next time we stay in Blowing Rock.
We loved our stay at ‘Stones’. It was such a quick easy walk to downtown where we enjoyed shopping, eating, drinking, and hiking. The lodging was super clean and very comfortable. Our furry family member felt very welcome. We made use of the fire pit two nights during our stay making priceless memories with our daughter and her husband. Having a collection of menus from the local restaurants available was very thoughtful. We loved the coffee shops, the Town Tavern, and the Speckled Trout.
This is the perfect pet-friendly location to enjoy Blowing Rock. The apartment was clean and well appointed. Host in on the property and greeted us warmly. We very much enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book here again next time we visit Blowing Rock.
We had a great stay at Stones! Could not have picked a better stay! The location is super convenient where you can walk to great restaurants, shopping, the park and playgrounds in the Downtown area as well! Karen was a great host and we can’t wait to visit in the near future!

The place was cute and we enjoyed our stay. I didn't realize we were on the top floor of a duplex until we heard the other guests downstairs, so we tried to keep the noise to a minimum (like removing shoes, etc). The guests in the other half of the duplex were great and it was my first time trying livermush!
Our family stayed at Sticks and Stones(above Sticks) and thoroughly enjoyed it, great location, fun activities and you can always count on cleanliness and being stocked with what you need!
We absolutely loved our time at Stones! The property was so cute and welcoming! It was very clean and such an easy walk to all that downtown Blowing Rock has to offer. We would love to stay again!
