Perfect location just out The part and minutes from downtown. The house itself was exactly the Maine cottage feel we were looking for in a family vacation.

So glad you finally were able to visit and that you enjoyed your stay!
The house is lovely. Plenty of space for our 2 families. Love that each bedroom has a bath. The AC was awesome since we had temps near 90. The view is spectacular and the distance to town is perfect. Would definitely stay again.

So glad you enjoyed your stay! We have had unusually hot weather this early season. Let us know when you’re ready to return to Acadia!
Despite all the rain we had a great trip and we’re able to do everything we wanted. Loved the house and views if I had any suggestions it would be to cut the two trees right outside the porch as it obstructed the view depending on where you were sitting.
Amazing property! We will be back! Perfect location… minutes from Acadia National Park and less than 10 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor. The views from the home were perfect! There are a lot of random steps, so it’s a little tough with very young kids. We had two 1-year-olds who just stared walking and we did fine (just wanted to mention). 5 stars!

So glad you enjoyed your stay! Just let us know when you're ready for your next Acadia "fix"!
The properties beautiful say right on top of the water if you like to kayak or canoe, they have those amenities there they have badminton if you wanna play that outside in the yard along with some other stuff great porch to sit out on if you like to have a coffee in the sunrise screened in porch as well Very good accommodations. The rooms are spacious. The bedding is comfortable. They have washer dryer in the house. kitchen is very adequately staffed or filled so really there’s nothing you’re lacking for in any capacity. They’ve got a Grill so there’s everything that you need to have a good week. Is there with the property
Amazing view, convenient location, suitable amenities with enough space for everyone to feel private and altogether at the same time. The outdoor areas are comfortable and well maintained. Lots of areas to settle down and relax. Prompt response with any troubleshooting. The available kayaks need some repairs and the general cleaning was a little rough on the edges.
We all loved Hulls Cove - fabulous location, the views were unbeatable, a gazebo with table and benches for game playing, access to 3 kayaks & a canoe and everyone has their own bathroom. We've rented thru VRBO many times and this was by far the most well equipped - everything you need from mix master to coffee filters. Very handy is the little grocery/bakery down the street (wonderful muffins). Highly recommend Acadia Lobster boat, bike rentals from Bar Harbor bikes (splurge on the e-bikes, hilly Acadia national park trails makes it worth it) and Thurston's Lobster Pound.
We LOVED our stay at Cove End but there were a couple of issues that I will address. 1)For the reviews that talk about the cold water....we did not have ANY issues with the cold water. We discovered you have to make sure to turn the shower lever around quite a bit; then the water is VERY hot. The downstairs bath did have lukewarm water, but it was manageable. 2) For the reviews about the traffic noise, there was traffic noise but it was really not that much of a distractor. The reason I did not rate as 5 star is as follows: 1) While the house was clean, it could use a deep clean, 2) Directions to house were a bit challenging to follow. We discovered our GPS gave us better directions, 3) there was no hairdryer (while that is not a big deal it would be nice to have one), 4) cleaning expectations are excessive and unrealistic for people with super early flights. With a 9:30 a.m hard check-out, and early morning flights, having to have the sheets, bath mats, and towels washed is excessive and unrealistic. With that said, I would like to say Cove End is VERY roomy and homey. There is plenty of seating for everyone in both the living room and the sunroom. We all had our own space and did not feel like we were under each other. The property manager, Jennifer, was extremely responsive when I contacted her. The office is AWESOME and fully stocked with two monitors, 3 docking stations (hp, dell, and one other one), a printer, and various office supplies (great perk as one of us had to work two of our vaca days!!!). The grounds around the home were wonderful....tons of outdoor space and a beautiful waterfront view. The tide is about 12ft so it is fun to see the different views from low to high tide. The house is FULLY stocked with pots/pans, all sorts of dishes as well as other hardware (extension cords, etc.). Finally, parking is EXCELLENT!!! We had private parking directly in front of the house with plenty of room to park our two vehicles. Overall, I highly recommend Cove End for your family vacation. It was a great house, but NOTE: handicap accessibility is not ideal because there are a lot of step-up and downs throughout the house (it is an older home..not a distraction for us, but others may need to know that). Would not hesitate to stay at Cove End again.
The property was along a quiet shoreline with clam waters which was great for kids. The house is in a great location- very close to Acadia Hulls Cove entrance and downtown Bar Harbor. I would recommend this property!
Beautiful views, on the water, bike to acadia and lakes. Short drive to town. House could use some updating and a deep cleaning, but location and amenities made our stay amazing!
We had a wonderful time at Cove End. The house was perfect for our family. We were close to everything without being in the middle of the tourists. We enjoyed the kayaks and canoe, and everyone loved playing croquet.
We were a group of friends staying at this property for a week, it’s as advertised , good location from the Acadia NP Hulls Cove entrance, and Bar Harbor, check in process was smooth, some of the appliances did not work , like the Ac in one of the bedrooms, as I read in an older review one of the bathrooms had some drainage issues in the shower, there was no hot water available in the shower the day we arrived, but the manager quickly responded and got that fixed, but since we were 7 of us we only got lukewarm water through our stay. Overall it was a decent stay, downside is that the check out time is firm.
I was traveling with my 80 years young parents and a few of my siblings and we had a blast. So convenient to Bar Harbor, and all of Acadia. Some drainage issues in a few of the showers but other than that, the house was extremely well appointed And functioned well for us. We would all return to the property.
