Family-Friendly Oasis - Salt Water Pool - Minutes From Beaches & Entertainment

As of January 2023 our pool has been converted to a salt water system instead of chlorine. Better for your skin, better for your hair, easier on your bathing suits and just a more enjoyable swimming experience!

Note: After a summer stay by the owners, this property has some updates not reflected in the photos. This includes, new welcome entryway, closet shoe storage, updated wall decor, living room furnishings & rug, indoor/outdoor sound system, patio furniture, native tropical outdoor foliage, drawer organization and welcome booklet!

You'll enjoy this home's open floor plan, hand scraped hardwood flooring throughout and beautiful renovated kitchen and appliances. Additional seating areas accommodate any style of dining. The generous master suite and two additional serene bedrooms comfortably sleep up to 8.

As you step through the front door into the great room you can see straight through the wall of sliding glass doors that leads you right out to the covered lanai area and HUGE crystal clear salt water pool. Beyond that you can enjoy the privacy of your own large, green, fenced back yard and outdoor lounge.

Our beautiful 15x30 ft. fully enclosed pool is solar heated and screened in to protect from mosquitoes. (Solar heating is environmentally conscious, but temperature will fluctuate depending on the weather.) Hang your swimming accessories on our custom shelving and enjoy a variety of pool toys on the freshly painted non-slip pool deck. The pool area and lanai are perfect for relaxing, grilling your fresh catch or enjoying happy hour.

If you're traveling with kids there is a whole closet of toys, books and games to keep them occupied during that classic 4pm Florida sun-shower.

Fall in love with the sound of the rain under the tin roof of our newest addition, the Outdoor Lounge. Relax anytime under the shade with power outlets, string lighting and two high power fans keep you cool.

Bedroom Descriptions:

Bedroom 1 - The Master Suite - Queen Bed and en-suite bathroom with soaking jacuzzi tub, shower and huge walk in closet. Recently installed grab bars make this space accessible for all ages.

Bedroom 2 - Boho Beach Room - Queen Bed, dresser and ample closet space. Pack N Play in the closet.

Bedroom 3 - Nautical Bunk Room - Queen over TwinXL bunk bed and freestanding TwinXL. The bunk room comfortably accommodates 4 adults or children and has black-out curtains so you can sleep in.


Both bathrooms include granite topped vanities with a shower/bathtub and newly installed grab bars for improved accessibility. Guest bathtub has been recently resurfaced and refitted.

Other amenities include washer/dryer, large family dining table, outdoor dining area, propane grill, beach towels and chairs, high speed WIFI, cable television and streaming options, flat screen TV, Blu-ray DVD player, Bluetooth audio connectivity to indoor and outdoor speakers, dishwasher, convection oven and range top, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster oven and fully-equipped kitchen.

Take an evening walk to enjoy live music and dining at a Sarasota favorite, The Parrot, or a multicultural variety of other restaurants including Japanese, Colombian, Mexican, Thai and Peruvian in the same plaza. It's just another short walk or drive to Sarasota's Amish community featuring Yoder's Fresh Market and restaurant, Big-Olaf Creamery, Der Dutchman restaurant and gift store. Publix grocery and many drug store options are also only a few blocks away.

This wonderful home is centrally located and just minutes to the beach and only a short walk from the newly open Legacy Trail. The Legacy Trail is perfect for exercising, biking, scootering or taking a stroll. We are also only a short drive or Uber ride to downtown, golf courses, several malls, etc., and only minutes to I-75 via Bee Ridge or Fruitville roads.

Home comes with all towels and linens and there is a pack n play available for use. There is no smoking allowed on this property including in the outdoor lounge. No pets are allowed, but those with highly sensitive allergies should be aware that dogs and peanuts have been on the property in the past. Parking is available for 1 car in the garage and up to 4 in the driveway.

Perfect vacation home close to beaches

This home was perfect for our family with 4 kids under 11! Had plenty of entertainment between the pool, games, toys and everything you need for the beach! We explored a handful of beaches all within 30 minutes of this house. The best beaches I’ve been at! The neighborhood is peaceful and grocery stores close by. Sarasota is a busy town but while staying in this home, we had our own oasis. One of the best VRBO homes we have rented!

We loved our stay! Literally everything was great - having our own pool for our 3 year old and 7 year old was the best! We visited several different beaches on our trip - nothing was more than 20 minutes away. Great restaurants and ice cream close by as well. T.J responded quickly with any questions and was super helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this location - especially if you have a car and kids that enjoy the pool more than the beach. Zero complaints and we would stay again if we make the trip back to Sarasota!

Perfect Family Getaway

We had a wonderful week long stay with our two little kids (5 and 2). The location was fabulous. We were close to the beaches and restaurants and close to many grocery and convenience stores. We didn’t have to spend much time traveling from one place to another and back to the house. The house it self was very comfortable and the owners made it feel so homey. Husband and I kept talking about how at home we felt. The accommodations for the kids was wonderful. They enjoyed playing with toys and having their own space for sleeping, including a pack n play for our little guy. We hope to book again in the future!

Best VRBO rental so far!

We’ve been using VRBO in the Sarasota area for the last 5 years, and this house is my favorite! Felt like home. The location was very centrally located in a quiet neighborhood and the house was well equipped and comfortable. We had a few glitches with the pool at first, but TJ was very responsive and the problem was resolved very quickly and the crystal clear pool was the best! Thank you also to Emily, the house owner, who reached out to us to express her concern about the pool issues. Highly recommended! Hoping it will be available for us to rent in the future!

Perfect for a traveling family!

The home was clean, stocked with all the towels, and pool towels you could need, as well as laundry soap, detergent, and a closet FULL of rainy day/kid friendly activities. A beach cart stocked with toys, an umbrella made adventures a breeze. The few minor inconveniences we had were promptly handled by the property manager. Ex: Door code incorrect when sent through VRBO, TV screen half black (happens after not being on in a while), AC not cooling (changed ecobee sensor batteries and it was perfect). This is the first rental home we have booked where the space was truly as pictured, if not better than pictures. The layout provided two families with space, as well as plenty of room to relax together. I’m so glad we booked this home!

relaxing month in nice neighborhood

We are two seniors who love to bike. We could access the wonderful Legacy Trail from the house. The house is well stocked with kitchen supplies, paper goods, toys, books, and large tv. The pool is heated but we preferred it not to be, and that was accommodated.It is maintained beautifully. Nice lighting throughout the house. Although it is very close to the main busy roads, the actual house is situated in a nice walkable neighborhood. The only glitches: we were given the incorrect key access code, so it took about a half hour to get into the house. The refrigerator water filtration system and ice maker were inoperable. Although the hanging seat hammock looks inviting, the cushion needs a serious cleaning. Otherwise, it is a highly recommendable place to stay.

Amazing Stay

This property is absolutely perfect. It was me, my husband and our 5 kids (infant, 2,3,8,9). To say this house is kid friendly is an understatement. There are toys, floaties, highchair, packnplay, pool fence, fenced backyard and more. Honestly we loved the property and the pictures does not do its justice. We had a little trouble and the host took care of it right away. Only suggestion is the house needs a deep clean and better cooking pans (vents,baseboards,light fixtures). Other than that we absolutely loved jt.

quant gem located near everything

This was the BEST VRBO and overall vacation experience we have had to date. The property is just as listed and a wonderful getaway from the hustle and bustle that is inevitable in tourist areas. A very short drive to the beach and TONS of shopping and food nearby. The neighborhood was quiet and adorable! The pool and back yard area was perfect for a family! All the adults and kids had a great time!

Very nice home in Sarasota

We just spent 6 days here, and everything was fine. (We arrived only a few days after the negative review about weeds, etc, was posted - we saw none of those problems.) We had a problem with a light fixture, and they were out the next morning to fix it. We spent lots of time in or near the pool, a great place to be. The kitchen was well equipped. No complaints!

Inside the home was beautiful and accomodating amd as described. However the pool, patio and yard need a lot of TLC. The pool tiles were falling off the side walls, bare metal exposed on the light that did not work, weeds overgrown, dead plants and much needed yard work.

Property was even better than photos, clean, light, airy, soothing decor. Family getaway

House was perfect for our family, kids loved starting and ending the day in the pool, and filled in The rest of the day at the beach. Local restaurants were great for takeout, there was a lot in short driving distance. Beach was about a 15 minute drive, the house had everything we needed for a full day at the beach (beach wheels, cooler, towels, toys). House was very clean and on a quiet street.

Wonderful week in sunny Sarasota

T.J.’s house is comfortable, convenient and offers lots of fun activities. The covered pool is a huge hit, along with pool floats and toys. For the beach there are plenty of beach chairs, a cooler , beach toys and even a beach cart to carry it all. T.T. Was responsive and fixed the washer which wasn’t working properly. We had a very good time in this property! Highly recommended!

Spring Break Get Away

This house was spacious and very clean. The house was very well stocked with towels, extra bed linens, cookware, and just about anything you could need. The pool was only heated by the sun but by the end of the week was comfortable enough to get in. I would also recommend this property because the neighborhood was very quiet, yet the location was convenient to everything.

This neighborhood is close to all the action of Sarasota, but still feels comfortable and homey. The neighbors are friendly and helpful and the beautiful trees really make you feel like you're staying in paradise. The proximity to restaurants and the Legacy Trail makes it easy to not need a car for a day or evening out.

We bought this home for our family to have somewhere to stay during the summers and we love it when we're there! We know you will love it too.
