Come visit our home away from home and enjoy the very best Pensacola Beach has to offer…just a few steps off the patio and your toes are in the sand! Choose between the calm, clear waters of Santa Rosa Sound (right off your patio) or cross the street for quick access to the waves and beauty of the Gulf of Mexico. La Bahia is a friendly, 22-unit complex located on the quiet area of the island…perfect for families wanting space and those wanting to relax. We take great pride in our home and spend every chance we can enjoying those sunsets!

Highlights:
• Our 3-bedroom, 3 bath home features a private balcony for each bedroom with views of the water. The rooms are spacious with smart TVs in every bedroom.
• Large main patio deck with ample space for everyone and you are steps away from the kids playing in the sand. No waiting on stuffy elevators here!
• All the comforts of home including ample kitchenware, full size washer/dryer, smart TVs, Bluetooth soundbar, wireless internet.
• Reserved, covered parking for up to 2 vehicles directly under unit.
• Large, lockable "sand closet" on the ground floor is great for storing all your beach gear (and keeps the beach sand out of your living space).
• Boater’s paradise: boat/jet ski moorings right off the beach to secure your vessel (or pull your kayaks right onto the soft shore).
• The bay-side beach is gentle and shallow…perfect for young kids with hermit crabbing, fishing, watching dolphins, water sports, and snorkeling.
• The Gulf-side beach is a 2-minute walk from your door (we've timed it!). Great for collecting seashells, boogie-boarding, and catching all the beach action. Pensacola Beach is consistently ranked as one of the best beaches in America.
• A dedicated bike/running path outside of La Bahia runs for miles.
• Onsite pool and gazebo.
• In-season, you’ll love watching the Blue Angels practice from our patio, or you can visit the nearby historic Ft. Pickens area for a front row seat.
• Free local trolley (runs Memorial Day to Labor Day) can take you to any of the countless restaurant/bar/entertainment options along the entire island.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was not only clean but also exactly as described. A special highlight were the two small kayaks, which gave our children lots of fun. This condo was well furnished, and a great location with the bay in the back of the ocean in the front, and easily slept six people with everyone having their own bathroom. It was perfect for our family of six. Also if you are looking for a somewhat isolated in Christine beach with no buildings or touristy stuff, I highly recommend the Gulf Island national seashore, which is just 1 mile from the The condo.

Beautiful condo on the Sound

Our stay at La Bahia was perfect. The condo was spacious, clean and well-stocked. We loved being right on the sound and only a few minutes from the entrance to Fort Pickens. We saw dolphins swim by almost every day. This location is ideal for families and anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay in Pensacola Beach.

Perfect place in Pensacola!

Roomy, comfortable, and unique! Plenty of space for friends and entertainment, or just beach relaxing. It's on the bay for jetski and kayak fun, and a beautiful ocean right across the street. The host is also nice and accommodating! We had everything we needed and check in/out was a breeze.

Best Family Vacation

Our family really enjoyed this rental it was perfect. We had small Grandchildren 2,5,6 they really enjoyed the beach on the gulf but when it was windy on the gulf side the bay was perfect! Condo was well equipped we prepared almost all of our meals there. Gas grill was a real plus for us. Brandi was wonderful ! Check in and entry very easy.

Family vacation

My family and I had a very good experience with place and host. The communication was phenomenal and Brandi was willing to work with us and was so grateful. She made sure we had everything we needed before arrival and if we had any questions she provided with quick responses. The website matched the description and was very clean and was provided with the necessities needed. It was a friendly neighborhood and short distance for shopping, eating and activities. Had a great beach view. Games were provided in the place which our kids love the game of Life now and was able to have game nights. We definitely enjoyed our stay and thank you so much!

Amazing beachfront stay

First of all, the location is perfect. The beach is literally right outside the front door. Being on the bay side was perfect for our little ones. The beach was quiet and only steps away; it was easy to find a spot and it was never too crowded. It’s true that the ocean side is a quick walk across the street! The condo was super clean and true to the listing. We had everything we needed for cooking (and we stayed in for most meals). A big plus for me was that the towels are nice too! Brandi was super communicative and supportive throughout the stay. The neighbors are nice and friendly, and they gave us some good recommendations around the area. Everything was great! 10/10 would recommend and would stay here again!

Nice location

This was a nice location with access to the bay and the oceanside. The condo was clean and access to kyakes and lawn chairs were nice. The stay was a bit cumbersome because roofers came without advanced notice. We had difficulty getting in and out of the condo and had tools and ladders on our deck. There were workers climbing up and down stairs which was in front of a uncovered window in the main bathroom. I get there was storm damage in June but more notice would have been helpful, especially with young children in tow.

I cannot speak highly enough of this property. Brandi was very communicative, thorough, and helpful throughout our planning and stay. The house is exactly as pictured — I would say even better than pictured! Everything was clean and well cared for. You can tell this is someone’s HOME in the best way possible: the furniture and beds are comfortable; the kitchen is stocked for cooking; and there are enough towel hooks (my pet peeve at a hotel!). We loved the private beach on the sound, which was just perfect for swimming with our toddler. The kayaks were such a fun addition. I’ve never stayed somewhere that has such convenient access to both the sound and the gulf. This is perfect if you like a more private location away from the boardwalk area. I’ve stayed in many rentals, and this was easily the best yet. This listing truly deserves 5 stars. We plan to be repeat visitors!

Great location!!!

This area was great!! We loved having the option to play and fish at the little beach right behind the condo with the kayaks and calmer water or just across the street catch waves and enjoy the bigger beach as well. Considering it rained a few days while we were there and lots of seaweed was washed up on shore at the big beach, having the other option to still enjoy the little beach was wonderful! The condo is very nice, plenty of room for our family, and supplied with all of our needs. The only complaint was the jetted tub was covered in mold and not able to use it. So that was very disappointing! Everything else seemed to be clean and the kayaks were definitely a bonus! The kids really enjoyed them! The pool being very close and clean was a plus as well!! And even though we had a few rainy days, we still had a very relaxing enjoyable week at this condo!!!

We are a family that loves the beach!! Adam & I went on our first beach vacation a couple months after meeting. A few years later, we were married barefoot on the beach in Florida. Thankfully, we are blessed with two wonderful children who love the beach as much as we do. They have grown up catching hermit crabs, kayaking, snorkeling and fishing on the beach at La Bahia. Our best family memories happen at this special place. We currently live outside of Houston, so this really is a home away from home for us.

Why they chose this property

We have spent the last 20 years exploring beaches all over the world, but fell in love with Pensacola Beach after visiting in 2013. Pensacola Beach is consistently ranked as one of the best beaches in America. It has such a great mix of activities, Blue Angel practices, and the people are very friendly, especially in this part of the island. Being on the Sound provides unique activities that you can't do anywhere else and after experiencing it, you will always want to be on this side of the island.

What makes this property unique

We LOVE the fact that we have 2 beaches to choose from and usually split our time between them for optimal conditions. La Bahia is peaceful, quiet, and spacious, with easy watersport access right out front. La Bahia is very quiet and families have space to relax, unwind, or mingle with other great families that return year after year and begin new friendships.
