Romantic Getaway/Writers Dream/Small Family Get Together

This is a Monthly Rental Only due to Township regulations..

This authentic 2400 sq ft timber frame cottage was built in 2009, and is the perfect spot to escape from your busy life. Located next to the Delaware water Gap National Recreation Area overlooking the Delaware River, it is close to hiking, biking, skiing, or many other Pocono amenities.

The master bedroom has a Queen bed with french doors leading to small deck outside. There are two Full beds in the upstairs loft area. There is 1 bathroom with a shower and a half bath.

The kitchen is equipped with all new appliances; gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender, electric tea pot, and everything you need for making meals. There is also a gas grill for outside grilling.

The living room is a great room with dining area and comfortable couch, chairs and two doors leading out to a large covered porch/deck with double swing and rockers.

The unit comes fully equipped with linens, cleaning supplies. kitchenware, WiFi, TV, Bose Radio & CD player, games and puzzles. Just pack your clothes and arrive to recreate and relax.

The owners live nearby and are available to accommodate you while you are here.

Amazing stay

Leslie was a great host and the house and surrounding grounds were beautiful. The location was also great, close to so many great hikes, restaurants and grocery stores. We will definitely be back.

Perfect

I rented this place for the month with my wife and two kids. It's big, spacious and perfect for a family. We wanted to teach the kids to ski, and the house is just 5 minutes from Shawnee Mountain. Leslie was a great host and very responsive. We're definitely coming back next year!

Wonderful stay!

Our stay couldn’t have been better. The house was perfect….secluded, yet near so many things to do! Leslie and Gene were gracious hosts. They were the source of lots of information about the area and made suggestions on things to do, places to visit, or restaurants nearby. In addition, when a couple of unavoidable issues popped up, they were easy to reach and addressed them immediately. The house worked perfect for us and we were able to enjoy it and the area with a few guests during the month. We hope to return in the future for sure!

Wonderful Cottage in the Woods!

Truly a lovely "cottage" even though it's bigger than my home in Colorado! The owners Leslie & Gene are wonderful people and promptly reply to any issues or questions. The cottage is just as advertised and pictured with lots of wood, beams and high ceilings. The AC works great in the hot weather and the covered deck is delightfull for meals, even in the rain! It's about a 10 minute drive from grocery store and restaurants in a couple directions, and 15 minutes or so from Stroudsburg. I would definetely return if I was in need of a monthly stay.

Breathingtakingly Beautiful

From the moment we drove up to this incredible space, my partner and I were enchanted. The house is gorgeous with everything —from firm mattresses and soft sheets to a fully stocked kitchen, games, even a little library of relevant books—to make our stay easy and relaxing. But, the setting is everything! We are from a city so eating on the outdoor deck, listening to the birds and bullfrogs, even the sound of the rain was so soothing. We ended up eating every meal out there! Leslie and Eugene are wonderful hosts, supplying us with cut flowers from their garden! They are super knowledgeable about the area and recommended waterfalls to visit (Raymondskill Falls are amazing) and where to eat (Saen Thai is delicious.) We loved our stay—it was just the antidote to the stress of city life that we needed and we plan on returning soon, and as often as we can.

A beautiful, cozy, upscale cottage retreat in the woods!

Leslie and Gene deserve all the stars and more for their hospitality and kindness before, during, and after my stay! Their lovely retreat is quality-built through and through, furnished and decorated with exquisite taste, and meticulously maintained inside and out. The airy architecture features high peaks, exposed beams, large windows with forest views and privacy shades, and hardwood floors throughout, with occasional rugs and radiant heat for happy feet! It was a welcome, memorable respite, and I look forward to returning.

Wonderful Cottage Stay

Leslie and Gene were wonderful hosts during our two month stay at their cottage. The cottage is very spacious with soaring timbered ceilings and a relaxing outdoor covered deck. The home is fully stocked with everything a guest could need for their stay. We would highly recommend the cottage for an amazing getaway.

Excellent time in nature!

Having space to just look out over the mountain ridge in the morning with some coffee was amazing! The house was really well-supplied and comfortable, especially the kitchen—it was a treat for any cook or baker to work in. Every day was really quiet and peaceful, but not too isolated. Surprisingly good brewery and other interesting things within walking distance too which is awesome for somewhere so secluded! Leslie was a great host too.

Beautiful quiet get away close to town

My family and I had a lovely stay. The owners were welcoming, flexible, and responsive. The house is beautiful and well equipped with most anything you might need for a months long stay (especially the kitchen!). Would certainly stay again to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Truly an amazing place

As we drove up and saw the house we were already excited to open the door and get in. When we walked into the house we were so happy to see the listed pictures were exactly what this place looked like and more. We loved everything... the house, the deck, the gardens.... everything !! Every day we went for a walk up the road and enjoyed every minute of it. The property is perfectly located, near everything and yet secluded in a very private area. We would highly recommend to stay here ... it is truly an amazing place !!

I set the bar high

Choosing Santosha Ridge as the first of 3 homes i will rent in next 3 summers has set the bar very high. First, the nature setting was beautiful and peaceful. Second, the home was immaculate and well stocked, with 360° beautiful window virews. Third, it is located a short distance from all necessities. Fourth, the owners not only took care of every need but anticipated ever question and answered it clearly. I will miss this lovely property.

Great Getaway

The setting is great, nestled in the woods. Very private setting. Enjoyed the porch for peacefulness. Loved seeing various wildlife, turkeys, black bear, deer & rabbits. The cottage is very clean with a well appointed kitchen. The owners supply plenty of towels & bed linens. The owners are very friendly & enjoyable to talk to. They were very helpful providing points of interest in the area & restaurants to try.

Great Place for Family Get Together

Beautiful place for Get Together - rented for my niece's Graduation - and we had a celebration BBQ one evening....very well appointed....nothing seemed to be missing to make this a great time. The place is very pretty inside; to go along with the views outside. Would definitely recommend and stay there again! Loved it.

Gracious Charming Cottage

Entering the cottage brings you into expansive living room w inviting fireplace and 180 degree view of the beautiful private setting. I was there w my husband and enjoyed the outdoor swing and bbq. We cant wait to bring the kids for the fall festivals and myriad winter fun. The kitchen is full service and well stocked the main floor os conducive to family togetherness and the bedrooms do provide a modicum of privacy. There are plenty of nooks and crannies for members to relax in and spread out. Leslie the owner keeps the cottage immaculate and charming and, she is so very gracious and accommodating. Perfect for romance and for family romping. Enjoy!!!
