Nestled 300 feet behind Playa Los Muertos , you’ll find sweeping Bandaras Bay views and tranquility high above the action that is Old Town Puerto Vallarta. Inspired by fond memories of the Greek Islands, Casa Santorini over looks majestic blue cupolas, white washed architecture and a coastline that can only be described as awesome.

From our fully furnished, pristinely remodeled 1 bedroom 2 bath condo enjoy the best that Zona Romantica has to offer, a short walk to restaurants, clubs and shopping tastefully appointed with a hint of European style.

Inside our apartment you’ll find motorized black out shades in the bedroom, a raised bed that allows you to see the ocean through the living room (by opening the remote controlled shade)
The unit has a washer/dryer, pool towels, fully equipped kitchen including a water filter dispenser so no need for bottled water. We have lightning fast internet and a smart tv.

Located on Amapas just feet away from Puerto Vallarta’s gay beach, Saphire Beach Club, Blue Chairs and Alamar resort, you can enjoy peaceful sunsets on the private balcony or lounge by the roof top pool under a covered canopy.

While a romantic destination, our condo sleeps two people. Stay connected with smart tv and wifi. Impeccably furnished with new appliances (Washer/dryer, Oven and dishwasher) Air conditioned and ceiling fans. 2 Balconys.

Note...Our building is built on a hill and has two entrances, with two separate addresses, one at street level close to the beach and the upper entrance easily accessible by car, taxi or uber. 1/2 flight down from the rooftop pool deck you'll find the penthouse level, our apartment is not recommended for those with mobility challenges. The most convenient access on foot is to take the stairs, people should be advised that there are 97 steps to the top from the lower entrance on Amapas Street.

Fantastic view and location

Very much enjoyed our stay. The location and view can't be beat. The condo is well appointed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The views!!!

We had an amazing stay in this condo. The views, the bed and amenities were great. Just be warned there are a lot of stairs to come back from the beach. We ended up taking Ubers (3-4 US dollars) to drive us up the hill lol. Will stay there again!

Love this spot! Amazing view, location, and space!

Like the last time we stayed here, the condo is spacious and beautiful, perfectly located near great restaurants and the beach, and the view is simply stunning. The management and staff is also quick to communicate, helpful, and friendly. Our only issues: one of the electronic blinds in the bedroom was not working, and there was an awful sewage-type small in one of the bathrooms. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location, clean comfortable condo

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days this month (Jan 2024), and really enjoyed it. The condo was exactly as you see in the photos; very clean with a comfortable bed. Bruce was responsive and helpful, providing a lot of great information about things to do, where to eat, etc. We were able to walk to the Malecon and all over town, really from there with no problems. Always felt safe and had a great time! Highly recommend!

The place exceeded expectations

Very interesting design and decorator choices. Although the 131 steps 3 times a day was a challenge, we saw it as a penance for our overindulging. Glad we were able to share this special place. george g

Love this place!

The pictures don't lie. The view from everywhere is spectacular! Pool is hardly ever used by anyone. If you plans on walking to the main areas just know that it's a lot of steps or streets with hills. If you are mobile don't hesitate. Stairs straight now to beach and main areas.

The picture making it seem it was right of the water, was not the building we stayed in. It was flights down(no elevators) and it took you, one block down to beach. The washer did not work. Other than that it does a panoramic view and well worth it. Also, avoid going in low season, hot as heck and I’m from Florida. Steam bath and rained most nights. Would I stay here again, yes the minuses out weighed the pluses. So yes!!!

Beautiful view, misleading address

Nice view but the address should be the street behind Amapas. There is also problems with getting the two different gate codes. They changed on the first of month. Had to get from owner and the number was incorrect. I had to walk 7 flights of stairs down and then walk 5 flights back up at 1:30 in a.m.

Great location, beautiful property

We spent a week in Bruce’s penthouse suite and had a magnificent and magical time. The views of Banderas Bay are picture perfect, the place was sparklingly clean and well appointed. Concierge Jorge was available by phone to help with directions and trip suggestions. Midway through our stay, the place was cleaned, with fresh towels (beach and bath — remember to tip!). Bruce, too, is available by phone if needed to make sure things go smoothly. There are five flights of stairs from the penthouse level (where taxis are plentiful) down to Amapas street, which is a block above the sand. It says there’s an elevator, but we couldn’t find that it connected to the bottom level. No matter. Enter by taxi from the airport at the top with your luggage. From below, it’s an easy walk down to the beach or to the Malecon. The Romantic Zone and Old Town are really the heart the city. This location is a gay haven, and is welcoming to all, gay or straight, very chill. We’d stay in Bruce’s penthouse again in a heartbeat — the same heartbeat of Puerto Vallarta it reflects. Gorgeous View

This condo has spectacular ocean / city views. The owner couldn't have been nicer, both before arrival and once we had arrived. There were several maintenance items that needed to be tended to upon arrival (broken toilet seat, broken cupboard doors, clogged shower drain, broken kitchen sink faucet, bathroom faucet, laundry does not work properly) but the owner was amazing and very accommodating, so much so that he offered to provide laundry service if we were unable to figure out how to use the laundry, and checked back with us to make sure everything was ok. The property management team was also very responsive. It's unfortunate the property management team didn't stay on these items before check-in, but perhaps they weren't aware. The furnishings are basic, a VERY low couch, and the remainder is all patio chairs with older pillows (that could use cleaning)Steps: We actually looked forward to the exercise and didn't have a problem with them at all. There are 2 flights of stairs from the upper level (1 down to the entry gate, and 1 down to the penthouse floor) and roughly 130'ish steps down to the beach access level. Not an issue for us, but if you have mobility issues, just be aware that the penthouse doesn't enter right at street level. Weekly housekeeping was provided, which was really nice.We had a wonderful 3 weeks in PV!

Good View and Place

Exactly as described and photos. FAILED CHECK-IN. The owner called and we spoke the day before which was nice, but the property management did not connect with me until 15 minutes after I had already arrived and was frustrated about their lack of not contacting me for 28 hours after the owner connected us all via email. CONCERNS👎: High bed 1.5m (I think it's high to look out for the ocean) I'm 5'10" and the top of the bed was at my rib cage. Microfiber sheets. Main Bathroom smells like sewer coming up from the sink drain, needs a new/better trap. I placed a cup of water over the drain hole to stop the entering of fumes. Could use better furniture bar stools, lookout-lounge furniture. Needs photos of entrance/keypads&doors for checkin. Minimal patio/pool furniture on the terrace that is shared with hotel. Really good shower. GOOD 👍: Water filter at sink, less plastic! Nice host. 2 Walls of windows, wide open door. Clean place. Towels Light dimmers! Reusable shopping bags. Soap and detergents for wash. I would book again.

Undervalued Gem and Fantastic Stay

I had a fantastic time in this rental! 5 stars for the host and the property -The windows, terrace and views are spectacular. If you want to see the water this is the spot. -The owner added brand new remote controlled shades. With so many windows to see the view, these came in handy!! -I loved the architecture, it reminded me of Miami Beach!! It was so unique and cool. -Everything functioned in the apartment as expected (appliances, tv with Roku). Maybe a little minor wear and tear that you’d get with any rental property. -The building is two combined buildings and the expansive rooftop pool is on top of the other building- (the roof is fully connected) so you don’t have a pool over your head which is a problem for some penthouses but not this one. There is a bar under renovation, and plenty of chaises on the roof. -You can access the street from the pool deck level or get your steps in and go down about six or seven flights. If you go down the stairs you land one block from all of the beach clubs (Sapphire, Ritmos/Green Chairs, Mantamar). If you don’t want to use the stairs call an Uber to the top deck. USD $2 Uber to get to the beach this way. The stairs aren’t an issue, and not even necessary if you’d prefer not to use them but one entrance does require stairs, the other does not (only 1/2 a flight of stairs). -I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. It was absolutely what I was looking for. Thanks to the host for providing such great accommodations.

Beautiful views

Overall this is a good stay. The condo has amazing views of the water and is about one block from the beach (it is not waterfront). As others have mentioned there are about 6 flights of stairs that do need to be climbed to get to the beach - or it is a walk/Uber down the main highway. The stairs didn’t bother me. It is in an awesome location to access good food as well (about 10 minutes walk from the clubs, main restaurants, etc). It is a quiet unit with one major exception noted below. There was filtered water from the kitchen tap, which was very convenient. The bed is on a tall platform so you can wake up to views of the ocean. The property is pretty bare bones as far as amenities are concerned. Things like sugar, coffee, tea, shampoo, and laundry soap were not available. Because of some other issues the host offered to try to get them to me. Also the dishwasher was not working as of the date of my stay. I believe the mattress cover needs replaced as there are two human-sized divots on either side of the bed. I filled one side of the bed with comforters I found, and was comfortable after doing this. Blue Chairs resort is about 1-2 blocks away and has a rooftop show nightly until about 10pm. It is very loud in the condo as a result. Something to note if you are noise sensitive. Overall this was a great stay. The host is very attentive and showed concern for any problems that came up. If it weren’t for the noise from the club I’d come back!

disappointing

Although the view is stunning there is an outdoor disco bar on the top floor of a building that is very close to the apartment and which blares it's music and flashing lights 7 days/week. This means no peaceful sunsets on your veranda EVER. There was a strong sewer stench in the master bathroom whenever we used the water and which lingered. The queen sized bed was very uncomfortable, with two indented body slots with a hump down the middle. The kitchen was large with lots of counter space and beautiful countertops. There was also a water filter on one of the taps, which we liked. We like to cook and had to improvise for pan lids etc. The washer was hard to use and we had to keep opening the lid for it to fill with water and to start it's cycles. The couch in the living room is situated so that you can't comfortably watch tv from there. One of the annoying things was the complicated lighting system, which had few helpful instructions and was not explained fully by our concierge. There were two fans in the dining room that we never did figure how to turn off. The air conditioning worked great. There are over 100 stairs to climb up and even though we are in our 70's we had no trouble getting up and down. If the master bathroom and bed were upgraded, I might stay here again if it weren't for the loud music radiating out over the entire neighborhood.

I wish you had taken the time to reach out to me during your stay.We were able to address the issue in the bathroom as it was a building issue that’s since been rectified. After many positive reviews I was disappointed to receive one star from you. Im convinced that even if every item were addressed to your satisfaction you’d still find things to complain about. A simple email or call to our concierge and they would’ve been happy to walk you through, The lights they would’ve brought you new lids for pots if you needed them. The television rotates and could have been addressed. Finally, the issue with the bed, that is a cover on top of the mattress designed for comfort and could’ve been smoothed out. They say the customer is always right so I won’t debate you, but I do feel that your review is harsh and unwarranted. Finally, we mentioned in our ad that we are located right behind the blue chairs, and that is the bar that you say you heard. I wish you the very best.

Had a great stay. Great property, great location, incredible view. It is a bit of a stair climb from the lower street level, so if you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you. Otherwise, I highly recommend.

great place

amazing place location safe and how precious everything was just like i saw it in pictures very nice experience first time i rented a place i always went all inclusive but this really changed the way i will be travelling I just want to point out two things about the condo a stool to get on the bed and more hooks to hang our belongings apart from that everything was great Bruce a question u have a place like this somewhere else in the world i will definetly be interested thank u

Great location in the romantic zone

This was a really nice place! The view was amazing. After doing some all inclusive‘s from previous visits, we decided to try something different. The location is perfect. I always felt safe in the area. There are so many good restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you choose to stay in and cook, the kitchen is well stocked. The pool deck was perfect. Never too many people around. The condo itself had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place. As stated in other reviews, there is about 90 stairs to go up when coming from the lower entrance, but the view more than made up for the climb!!

Gorgeous space

We loved the apartment. It's even nicer than its pictures. The view is unbelievable and it has the feel of a modern hotel suite (but better!). Owner was very responsive. Checking in was a little confusing (it's hard to explain how the property is set up) and the hotel changed the code for the front gate, but it just took a few seconds to figure out. Would highly recommend this apartment!

Sometimes it's nice to be an adrenaline junkie and sometimes we just want to relax, we also like doing both in the same day. Love the nice things in life and LOVE finding the right hole in the wall for dinner. Balance is my favorite word.

Why they chose this property

After visiting for 20 years I knew that Puerto Vallarta is special and this neighborhood makes me feel at home. It's quaint and only 2 blocks away from world class dining, across the street from the beach and high enough above the street to make the world slip away.

What makes this property unique

Always been attracted to Ocean Views. I visited newer, more modern buildings yet kept circling back to this unit, far above the street there's a remarkable feeling seeing the Ocean and the Mountains when you look out on a corner unit with wrap around windows.
