This is a great property when you need lots of bedrooms and want to be able to walk everywhere. It was ideal for our family of 7 adults, and there were multiple beach entrances within an easy 10 minute stroll. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.
Excellent experience staying at the Siesta Key Castle! We took advantage of the private canal dock and caught some fish using whole shrimp as bait. We also used the available kayaks! Living walking distance from the beach was a huge plus!We will very likely be back next year!
Great place to stay for a family vacation. Convenient to the beach, bars, and restaurants. Nice layout of rooms. The outdoor space with pool and dock was fun. There are also lots of things for the pool and beach including chairs, sand toys, umbrellas, and wagons.
We had a great stay!!Don was great to work with!the pool heater gave out the first week but Don did his best to get it fixed as soon as he cud...the pool was fantastic the few days we used it then!the Blackstone grill was a highlight as well...it was so much fun cooking food on ther!!
We had 10 people for 2 weeks and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The heated pool and spa were used daily. The walkability was a huge plus. Being so close to restaurants, shopping and the beach was great. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. TV in every room. Don always responded quickly to messages. We have no complaints and would rent again in a heartbeat.
We really enjoyed the Castle on Siesta Key. All nine of us enjoyed the property and especially the private pool. The Castle was very clean and well kept. I highly recommend it.
We had a wonderful vacation at the castle house. Location was perfect, house was large and set up nicely for our family. Pool area was great, lots of room for the kids. Will look at this place again for our next Siesta trip.
This is the second summer we've stayed at Castle on the Key and it's become our favorite vacation spot. We love that we can walk to the village easily, take the kayaks out for a spin on the canal, and access the beaches with a short drive or walk. We plan to come back over and over.
We thoroughly enjoyed it. It was big enough for our family. The owner was great. Our grandson enjoyed fishing in the canal. It was overall a great time. The pool was used a lot.
The location of this property is perfect for walking to all the action on the Main Street. The home has everything you need to enjoy your stay. There is too much to do for only one week!
Property was as advertised. Lots to do at the house, everything was clean and in good condition, and it was a great location. Lots of beach chairs, an umbrella, wagon, toys, etc were provided. We enjoyed kayaking the canal, trying to fish (caught a sting ray and that was it in the canal), pool and spa were great, walk to the beach wasn’t too bad, and location to restaurants and shopping were great. Would definitely stay again.
We vacation often in Siesta Key and I’m always looking for something on the canal with a pool and kayaks that is walking distance to the village and the beach. This checked all the boxes… 5 minute walk to the village and 10 minutes to the beach. The layout of the castle is unique but plenty spacious and clean. Don was a great host and we would stay there again.

Overall a nice place unfortunately it was very dirty there was sand in the one bed and a worm in a nother one the sheets didn’t not feel clean at all the house smelled like mold and it just was not clean at all, was very gross with tiny baby’s that want to crawl around it was not ideal, there was also nothing to sweep the floor with and the spoon draw was full of dirt so gross
Amenities, only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Only one roll of paper towels. Refrigerator smelled like fish. Ad said house had a gym it did not. Back deck was a disaster rotten wood peeling paint. There is alot more
This property was very conveniently located to the Village. Our family enjoyed the lovely pool area and float toys. The home is dated but adequate for my family. It doesn't appear as clean as it could be because of it's age. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes pots and pans etc.
