This 2BR/2.5BA unit is very spacious and roomy. It has been updated and has a fully furnished kitchen and wet bar area. Each of the roomy bedrooms have walk-in closets and their own private decks. Gulf Winds East 51 sleeps 6. 1 King size bed, 1 Queen size bed, and a sleeper sofa. Sunday to Sunday rental during the peak season. Only one parking spot available per condo. Canopies or tents are not allowed on this beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent.

Destin, Florida is known as "the worlds luckiest fishing village", but we do not stop there! The whitest beaches of Florida and the Emerald Green waters are unmatched. Shop in an outlet mall, an upscale outdoor mall, or one of many boutique stores. When you are through shopping, there are endless places to enjoy the local fare or just get a quick bite. Don't forget about our water park, amusement parks, and our dozens of golf courses.

We loved our stay! Excellent location! Steps from the pool, restaurants and the beach. The condo was updated and worked out well for our family in regards to beds and space. Would love to stay here again!

The kids love the heated pool and it’s always a nice back up for windy days or beach closure days. It’s a quite place a night to stay at. This complex is overrun by an HOA which is currently upgrading the units as well. We stayed while the workers were there and they did not bother us or get in our way at all. I will always come back to stay here at one of their places.

We loved the new refrigerator and all new sliding doors to the decks and other areas. This unit is so close to the beach. It’s so easy to walk back and forth throughout day when needed. The beds are comfortable! And having a washer and a dryer in the unit is always so nice!!! Anytime we have question, Harmony responds extremely quickly! We can’t wait for next year!

Hurricane Michael changed our plans

We went to Gulf Shores for two nights and then drove over to Destin. We had rented from HBV before so we went there and sure enough they had a great little condo for us. Our vacation was saved!!!! Had a wonderful time in Destin (like we always do), got our fill of fresh seafood and beach while everyone had home was getting the first taste of cold weather. We love the Emerald Coast and we love HBV, they never disappoint. This is the 4th time we have rented from them and I recommend them to everyone I know.

I was refused. I'm not rich and had saved for this vacation. I am sick and knew this was going to be my last one. Company had no sympathy at all. I should have gone with a more high end property. They ask did I have the insurance, it was never offered to me. But then said ,it may not have mattered.

8 Day Vacation

With booking only a month ago, that was not available. I can say we will now always stay at Gulf Winds East! The location is awesome! Walk across scenic 98 to the beach! The pool is GREAT! The 2 bedroom, pull out couch and 2 1/2 baths met our needs. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was great too! The kids loved the smart TV in living room to watch Netflix at night. You can walk to Kenny D's and Captain Daves to eat. I wish 15 years ago I had looked at this place! We love the beach, we stay at beach all day so to walk across was great! Everyone could come and go and do their own thing! We did as stated and kept air where it said to, and it worked really good. However looking at the air unit outside it looks like it may be "on its last leg". Harmony Beach Vacations was great! No keys were left in unit, but someone quickly brought them over. I wish it was pet friendly, but I knew going in it wasn't so the pets stayed home. For some people the furnishings may not be up to date enough, but to us we were fine with everything and totally will stay again next year!

Gulf Winds East

I was excited to stay at gulf winds because of its location and access to the beach across the street. Things were going well with the amenities until the internet would just go out. I reboot the device and it would work for a day and go out. I reported to the onsite maintenance, they came and did what I did to resolve and said this looks like a personal modem that they would have to notify the owner to resolve fully. I had to continue to reset the device daily for the wifi to work. I accepted this issue. But then one night the family and I returned home later in the evening and there was not any hot water for us to shower and get clean. I called onsite maintenance and was given a reply that I would have to wait until the next morning around 9 AM for someone to look at the hot water issue. This was not reasonable as I was not clean and had an early morning appointment at 7AM to attend. I reported this and called Vrbo and then tried to reach out to onsite maintenance and was ignored. This was not resolved to my satisfaction. No attempt to compensate me for the inconvenience occured. The hot water was corrected while I was out. I was able to shower and then the following morning the hot water was out again. It was time for me to check out so I didnt bother calling again since I felt I was not a valued guest. I contacted Vrbo again to see if the host or maintenance had responded to my complaint and they informed me they had not and to go ahead and leave this info

Price is affordable we have always been pleased with the clean units if ever an issue management has always taken care of it thank you again for another year of everlasting memories
