Comox Valley Walk-On Oceanfront Cottage (B) At Udina Bay on Vancouver Island

2 Bedroom, walk on waterfront cottage, fully furnished, open floor plan, hot tub, parking, BBQ, year round accommodation located 10 minutes from the Comox Airport and 15 minutes from downtown Courtenay and Comox shopping. Built in 2014, modern, with TV, DVD, internet and wi-fi. Watch the ocean from the front patio with cruise ships passing by and all the wildlife the Comox Valley has to offer. Bates Beach is close by with boat and kayak rentals, boat launch and fishing opportunities. Mount Washington ski and recreation resort is 45 minutes away. Centrally located on Vancouver Island in the heart of recreation and culture with many possibilities close at hand.
The cottage also offers full laundry facilities, outside shower, wood burning fireplace/stove, the ocean facing bedroom has one queen bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds. patio furniture and a kitchen with all appliances and utensils necessary to make your stay a pleasant one.
PLEASE NOTE base rental rate quoted is for 2 guests. There is an additional charge for each guest (including children) beyond 2.

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was a good fit for our family of four (two teens) and our large doggo. The view is amazing. Don’t miss the stars at night; best viewed from the hot tub! We enjoyed walking to Seal Bay and Kitty Coleman parks along the beach. The communication from the host and owners was excellent. The property sits on a beach break / retaining wall. There are steep steps down to the beach on each side of the break. Low tide provides the chance to reach the sandbar at the end of the big tide pool. We enjoyed the wildlife and sea traffic. Lovely calm and peaceful area. A great place to recharge and rest.

It is our 3rd year in a row staying here and we just absolutely love it. Cute, cozy, relaxing and right on the water. We can't say enough good things about this place and the hosts. One of our ultimate favourite vacation get aways that we look forward to every year!

Everything was fantastic! I only gave 4 stars for clenliness due to there being alot of dog hair accumulated on the rug and in corners. The kitchen sink tap is finicky, i could never get the temp i needed. . All in all the place was great! I will come back!

This was my second stay, and I enjoyed it even more than the first time because it was familiar. A friend came for a couple of nights, and we thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful ambiance, the fireplace and hot tub. Every day here is unique. I didn't want to come home! I definitely will stay there again.

Beautiful cottage inside and out. Clean, very comfortable, quiet. Stunning vista of ocean and mountains. Lots of fun beach combing and watching seal and birds. Would go there again.

We have lived in the Comox Valley most of our lives and owned this property since the early 1960's. In 2012 the cottage was rebuilt from the foundation up so it is new, modern, comfortable and a great place to relax and unwind. We wanted to share it's beauty.

Why they chose this property

We love and appreciate nature, quiet, the ocean, the mountain views and above all privacy therefore this was the perfect property for us, which we now wish to share with others.

What makes this property unique

The views, sound of the ocean lapping on the shore, watching the wildlife and cruise ships (in season) go by along with the peace and serenity make this an enjoyable place to kick back, relax and enjoy life.
