Group of 2 country houses rented together near a private lake, restored with character and natural materials (stone, wood and terra cotta). 16 to 18 sleepings.
The whole has a pleasant swimming pool. 13 x 7m with view of the Pyrenees, secured, with a shelter for the barbecue.
Uninterrupted view of the Pyrenees mountains.
Very close to the forests of the Montagne Noire.
The serenity and simplicity of living in a farm with its animals (horses, donkey, sheep and poultry). 100 ha with woods and meadows.
Ideal place to visit and relax in the Lauragais, take walks along the Canal du Midi, climb up many castles. Make the most of its active cultural life at the foot of St Papoul abbey, classical music, theatre nights, outdoors concerts. See program on Saint-Papoul.

Wonderful

Very quiet location, perfect for a large family garden. We had two houses, which suited us very well. The houses were decorated in antique rustic French style, inside and out, which suited the properties perfectly. The swimming pool was amazing. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, without being at all intrusive,

Un séjour absolument parfait ! Le cadre est d’un calme rare, avec une vue splendide sur la campagne et les Pyrénées. Les maisons, décorées avec goût dans un style rustique et chaleureux, sont confortables, spacieuses et très bien équipées, idéales pour les familles ou les groupes. Le grand jardin et la piscine ont ravi tout le monde. Nos hôtes, Sara et René, nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et d’attention, tout en restant très discrets. On se sent immédiatement bien ici, comme à la maison, et l’on profite pleinement de la sérénité du lieu. Une adresse à recommander les yeux fermés, où nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Grand calme avec vue

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la ferme. Les maison sont toutes aussi charmantes les unes que les autres, décorées avec soin, et on s'y sent bien de suite. L'accueil de Sara est René est chaleureux, et on apprend tellement de choses sur la vie agricole ! Le calme est incroyable, et la vue sur la chaine des Pyrénées est un vrais bonheur... Bref c'était un excellent séjour à recommander vivement !

Super gîte dans un super endroit. On avait passer un week-end en famille (17 personnes) et tout était top. La propriétaire est gentil et bienveillante. On avait besoin de rien. Je recommande!

Peaceful country retreat

We loved the location, surrounded by countryside but within easy access to Carcassonne. Both buildings were full of local charm. Perhaps not the best choice if you like everything to be brand new and characterless but just the sort of lived-in place our families enjoy. The rooms and pool were very clean when we arrived and there was everything you could need in both kitchens. The huge tables, indoors and out, meant that the whole family could eat together. Would definitely return.

La plus belle salle à vivre depuis que nous louons des gites grand capacité. Meublée agréablement, linge fourni, propreté et accueil agréable. De la place dedans et de la place dehors. Vraiment parfaite pour un groupe qui aime son confort;

LA FERME DU BONHEUR AVEC UNE VUE MAGNIFIQUE

Pour la 2éme année nous revenons à la Ferme du pays de l'Aude avec sa situation idéale ,vue sur les Pyrénées. Suffisamment vaste pour une grande famille avec sa grande pièce à vivre pour se réunir autour d'un feu de bois.Et si le temps le permet le coin piscine (sécurisé et sans risque pour les jeunes enfants) est un lieu plein de quiétude et très agréable pour les déjeuners d'été. Sarah nous accueille en toute simplicité et nous met très à l'aise si bien que très vite on se sent comme à la maison. La maison est charmante avec des meubles anciens et très originaux pour certains.Rien à redire sur la propreté c'est parfait. Merci Sarah et René et peut être à l'année prochaine

Un accueil chaleureux et attendu, deux gîtes impeccables à la décoration raffinée et recherchée, à la fois proches et indépendants pour laisser nos ados en toute liberté dans cette magnifique propriété de charme et tranquille, dans un environnement exceptionnel. Très bien équipés pour une réunion familiale comme la notre, de nombreux espaces de repos pour chacun, des animaux à apprivoiser, tout a été pensé et réfléchi pour le bonheur des petits et des grands, rien à reprocher si ce n'est le temps qui ne nous a pas permis de profiter de la piscine. A découvrir absolument, en bref une adresse à recommander pour un séjour relaxant. Enfin pas trop que nous puissions revenir !!! Les Commingeois et les Corréziens.

Nous y avons passé quelques jours pour fêter la nouvelle année avec plusieurs couples d'amis. L'accueil par Sarah est très agréable, elle est aux petits soins pour nous tout en restant discrète. La ferme est très spacieuse, vraiment très confortable et très bien équipée. La vue sur les Pyrénées est imprenable. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette location à ceux qui recherchent un havre de paix de charme, reposant, très confortable et accueillant.

foyer en séjour avec de jeunes enfants, nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans un endroit magnifique, sécurisant, très propre et fonctionnel. Bien situé, le site est magnifique, proche des villes principales. Les propriètaires qui offrent un service plus que parfait, nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de sympathie et de chaleur, soucieux de notre bien être et de celle des enfants. la maison est d'ailleurs pensée et aménagée pour un conford maximum! un grand merci aux propriétaires pour cette magnifique location, et leur accueil fort agréable!! nous y retournerons!!!
