This is a townhouse that was completely renovated during the winter of 2022–2023 (the photos have not yet been updated due to ongoing construction). It is located on the hill where the entire village is built, offering a wonderful view of the Gulf of Squillace. You can enjoy the sea view as soon as you arrive, from the parking lot where you have a private spot—very useful, especially in August when the village is full. But you can also enjoy it directly from the dining table, from the private garden in front of the house, or from the patio if you want to eat outside in the shade of the awning. There’s also a small garden area behind the house that you can enjoy in the morning when you open the shutters right after waking up—the green of the lawn, the village houses separated by a hedge, and the blue of the sky. There’s also an awning out back to provide shelter from the sun.
My home is very cozy; there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two bunk beds. The rooms each have two nice closets with plenty of space to store your belongings. There’s a bathroom with a shower stall, a spacious living area with a sitting room, a TV area, and a dining room. The kitchen isn’t exactly a separate room but is part of the living area; it’s divided from the rest by a wall that doesn’t reach the ceiling but still defines the spaces. I love to cook, and the kitchen is well-equipped.
In the living room, there’s a stereo system that plays CDs, as well as an USB drive with MP3s, or you can connect directly via Bluetooth to your cell phone.
The TV is modern enough to have an HDMI connection; I usually bring a media player loaded with my kids’ favorite movies.
The resort has a private pool and entertainment for children and adults during the summer months; there’s also a bar that provides fresh bread, newspapers, and croissants every morning. Also during the summer months, a free shuttle to Caminia Beach is available to everyone. The stop closest to the house is at the corner by the pool, two minutes from the house, and the schedule is posted there.
