Excellent location to stay when visiting Rome!

The apartment was just as advertised. Angelo is a wonderful host willing to go above and beyond to accommodate all of your needs. It is in a quiet neighborhood with just a short walk to the Vatican. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Angelo’s place was everything we could hope for. Being within walking distance of the Vatican was a bonus. The market across the street and the wonderful Gellatto shop within site of the apartment was a total blessing. Angelo was very helpful whenever we had any questions. "This was an ideal location with easy walking access to the Vatican (10 minutes) and other sites, too. The area had all the shops needed to shop for groceries, restaurants, and cafes to feel at ease and enjoy the city. The apartment was spotless, safe and quiet. Angelo, the landlord was couteous, accommodating, and provided us with all the info about sightseeing and arranged transportation for us to the airport at a fair rate. We are confident in recommending this apartment."

We were surprised at the ...

We were surprised at the spaciousness of the flat. Everything was very pleasant and just as described. Sgr Compagnucci most welcoming. Very good and quick access to centre of town by bus. The only reservation one might have is that the noise from the adjoining main street could be a draw-back for some - we did not feel it to be so, but I would just mention it if recommending the flat to a friend.

Lovely apartment with a nice patio area right in the bustle of city.

The apartment is lovely in a nice building with easy access to bus lines, the metro, an excellent gelato store across the street and several good markets. We especially liked the market just across the street. The location near the Vatican is ideal and access to bus lines makes it easy to travel via public transportation. The only drawback was that the street is quite noisy and we had to sleep with the windows closed and the air conditioner on. If this isn't a drawback then it's a great spot. The living room sofa is also comfortable for more than one or two guests.

Great central location. Very good check in by Angelo, he gave us all the information needed. The apartment is very well equipped. The highlight is the cozy patio for breakfasts. Two supermarkets just around the corner. A-line Tourist Metro station is a 10 minute walk. Vatican Museums are walking distance. A/C works great.

4 night stay in September

The apartment is attractive, comfortable and tastefully decorated. There is also a small patio garden where one can sit and have breakfast or evening drinks. There is a lot of traffic noise but that is normal for Rome! The apartment block itself was very quiet when we were there. Angelo kindly offered to arrange a reasonably priced transfer from Ciampano airport which was great as our flight didn't arrive until 8:30pm. His friend Andrea met us at the apartment and showed us everything - he was very helpful and has very good English. One thing, the apartment is described on Homeaway as having 2 bedrooms but in fact one of the bedrooms is actually the sitting room or lounge so it was somewhat misleading- this seems to be common practice in Italy.

Nett für kleine Familien.

Die Unterkunft liegt 10 min zu Fuß vom Vatikan entfernt. Die Wohnung ist im Erdgeschoss und das Haus trotz hellhöriger Wände ist ruhig. Die Lage an einer vielbefahrenen Kreuzungen sorgt aber leider für etwas Unruhe und wenn man lüftet riecht man schnell die Abgase. Die Küche ist sauber aber klein. Es gibt einen Gasherd, Kühlschrank mit Eisfach und genug Geschirr für ein Essen. D.h. nach jedem Frühstück, Mittag etc sollte man abwaschen. Mehr als 2 Erwachsene haben dort nur schwer Platz. Leider war der Toaster und das Bügeleisen ohne Funktion. Das Bad ist sauber aber es gibt dort nur einen Handtuchhalter am Waschbecken. Bei der sehr engen Dusche gibt es leider nur einen einzigen Haken. Sehr bedauerlich war, dass nach 4 Tagen die Toilettenspülung versagte und man sich ab dann mit einem Eimer behelfen musste. Die Terrasse liegt genau zwischen mehreren sehr hohen Häusern. Man hat also keinen Ausblick. Aber durch den Sonnenschirm ist etwas Sichtschutz gegeben. Alle Fenster haben Fliegengitter. Die Betten sind ein Genuss fürs jeden der es hart mag. Die Wohnung ist gut geeignet für bis zu 3 Personen. Darüber wird es eng. Es gibt auch nur ein richtiges Schlafzimmer. Das zweite Bett ist die Couch. Das W-Lan ist geeignet für Netflix aber gelegentlich kommt es zu Verbindungsabbrüchen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es 7 Tage die Woche gleich auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite. Zur Metro läuft man ca 5min, die Bushaltestellen sind deutlich dichter dran. Es gibt einen ausgezeichneten Eisladen und gute Restaurants in der Nähe.

L'appartement est agréable. Il est bien conçu. Propre, vitrages empêchant le bruit de la rue, vaste et bien décoré .Il est possible de cuisiner quelques repas avec une gazière et un frigidaire assez vaste. Il est possible de manger dans la cuisine qui est assez grande. Il y a des magasins alimentaires au pied de l'immeuble. Il est situé à 2 stations de métro du Vatican et des bus passent dans la rue. Excellent séjour, très bel appartement, pratique et bien situé

L'appartement est proche des transports en commun, il est facile de joindre les différents endroits de Rome. Il est très propre, très bien équipé. La terrasse est très agréable, pour le petit déjeuner par exemple. L'accueil d'Angelo est chaleureux. Je recommande!

Nice spacious apartment in a noisy neighborhood

The apartment is as advertised: large, spacious and clean. The coffee store near the entrance is a good choice in the morning. Should give it a try :). We arrived late because of the traffic jam on the Freeway, however Angelo was very nice and waited for us a whole hour... Everything was OK, the Underground is not far from location( 10 min ), as well Vatican. For the car, which by the way we never used it the entire week, one may find parking on the street for Eur 7 a day. Unfortunately Rome is very loud, full of tumult and the neighborhood does no exception...

Clean,Safe and Affordable Rental in Rome

We found the apartment to be as advertised. Clean, comfortable and affordable in a safe neighborhood of Rome. Convenient for walking to the Vatican and for using city buses and subways. The kitchen and bath are small in size but contain everything needed or expected. Angelo was very helpful and provided lots of literature for touring Rome. We have fond memories of our stay at his apartment in Rome.

Un appartement de grande qualité

Un appartement soigné,décor très accueillant, nombreux documents disponibles pour visiter la ville, présentant tout le confort qu'on peut souhaiter pour un séjour romain, à proximité du métro, du Vatican, des commerces. De nombreux garages à proximité. Le propriétaire est attentif à la qualité du séjour et très sympathique. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir du séjour fin avril 2014.
