About this property
1st floor apartment in a 3 storey villa with garden, bus/metro close by
1st floor apartment in a 3 storey villa with a wide garden. It is quiet and airy and has 1 bedroom with its own bathroom en suite, a furnished kitchen corner and a light dining room. The bedroom is air conditioned and has a double bed queen sized (160 cm) which can be divided into 2 twins. A baby cot is available upon request. Bathroom has a large shower stall, toilet, sink, bidet. The dining room is a light veranda with dining table and chairs. There is also a single sofa bed for a 3rd person/child The mini kitchen includes a washing machine and a dishwasher, two induction burners and a sink. In the dining room there is a fridge, a toaster, a microwave oven, a kettle, a Nespresso coffee machine, a milk frother and a squeezer. You will find also some basic items like tea bags, coffee capsules, sugar, salt, oil, a pack of spaghetti and a can of tomato (if you wish to cook a true Italian spaghetti dish!). Hair dryer, iron, plugs, bed linen and towels are at your disposal. The garden offers table and chairs and a swing sofa. The apartment is perfect for 2 people, but can host a 3rd person or a child. Bus is only 100mt & subway station 800mt. Montesacro is a lively district with a true Roman flavor. From my house you can easily reach the city center by public transport (bus and metro) and still take advantage of a quiet space where relax yourself after a day of sightseeing. And if you want to go out at night, in the neighborhood you will find many nice places where to dine or have a drink. My guests can relax themselves in the garden at their pleasure but being a common area of the entire villa it is requested to not disturb the quiet and to not use it during the night time. I live on the 2nd floor of the villa and I will be available most of the day to guests needs/questions. The district: Montesacro was built at the beginning of 1900. There are many of the original villas making this an elegant and quiet area of the city. In the meantime many nice places opened in the last years, from wine bars to restaurants. There is one of the best Roman ice cream parlor and some wine bars, tapas places like Anchimò, Pic Nic, Ponte Tazio and Mezzo Litro. There is a very old bridge, the Nomentano, existing since the time of Roman Emperors, and there is a small hill where the first strike of the Roman history took place and where Roman consul Menenio Agrippa made his famous speech known "of the limbs and stomach"(The Monte Sacro). Here Simon Bolivar "El Libertador" swore to free his people and Latin America from Spanish rule. How to get around: There is a bus stop 100 mt. from the apartment and a Metro B stop 800 mt. away. You can take bus n. 60 or 90 to the center and Metro B to Termini Station, Colosseum, Circo Massimo and Piramide. From Fiumicino airport there is a regional train (ticket 8 euro) which stops at Nomentana Station, 1 km. away from my home. If you are a biker, there is a bike path few meters from the apartment which takes you to the new Auditorium (Flaminio area) and from there you can reach the center quickly and easily.

We had a wonderful stay. The appartment has anything you need and is located in a very nice area if Rome wich is not overcrowded by tourists ;). Lia is a very nice and helpful host.
Located in a quiet part of town with some great coffee shops nearby. Bus ride into the heart of Rome is easy and takes 20-30 minutes. Lia was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you Hannelore ... and you are a great guest!
Lia our host was so helpful to us and was always there to settle us in, walking with us around the locality and make recommendations re local places to eat out and bus access to central Rome. Bus access was a very easy 20 minute bus ride to the centre. She even took my wife to a local hairdresser when she wanted a trim. The apartment wanted for nothing and the garden access was wonderful. Would certainly stay here again if ever we were back in Rome.
First of all the host is super fabulous and I don’t say that lightly! Helped with everything and is literally a phone call away! She got us a cab and even paid for it! We are going to send her money:) but the place was nice and about a 30 min bus ride to Rome or a 28 taxi ride. But there is a grocery store and restaurants right near the apt. Would definitely stay there again in a heart beat…. Loved Lia!
Nice neighbourhood with old villas and small plots, small shops & buses nearby. High ceilings, large windows, light living room, lots of character as wooden shutters & decorated with creativity. Small induction stove, dishwasher & cloth washer, drying rack, fridge. The owner was friendly, spoke English, even accomodated for my fragrance intolerance.
We enjoyed very much our stay at Lia's. Apartment quite large with several rooms providing lots of space. Well finished kitchen. Nice size dining area. Large bedroom with comfortable king size bed. Beautiful bathroom with new fixtures. All very clean. Nice quiet neighborhood with supermarket close by. Close to bus lines to the attractions at the center of Rome. Private. View of garden thru windows. Would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.
We were initially unsure about renting an apartment that was a bus ride away from the city center, but it turned out to be a fantastic decision. The apartment is very clean, fresh, and equipped with everything you'd expect from a short-term rental. The host, Lia, is amazing—always helpful and quick to respond to any questions.
The neighborhood, Monte Sacro, is incredible. It's vibrant and lively, with excellent restaurants, providing the perfect setting for a pleasant evening after a day of sightseeing in Rome. In Monte Sacro, you can experience Rome in a way that's impossible in the tourist-heavy city center. This morning, I enjoyed my coffee as the barista and waiter sang along to a song on the radio, adding to the charming atmosphere. I really felt envious for the way they were enjoying working on a Sunday morning…
We stayed in Lia´s wonderful place for 5 days and enjoyed our time there very much. The apartment is clean and beautiful and offered everything one needs to feel home. The area is lovely and easy to get to with the metro or one of many busses. 5 minutes walking distance brings you to a nice place with a morning market nearly every day and from the afternoon on places to sit and enjoy your Aperol Spritz or whatever your choice is.
Lia is very friendly and helps with anything you need to know.
If we visit Rome - this amazing city - again, we will definitely try to stay with Lia. Sasha&Christian
Gerne wieder

Thank you Kai & Family for your kind review. I'm sorry for the parking, it was my mistake in writing details in the description of the services. I have already changed it to avoid future misunderstanding!

The villa was very nice, and perfect for the three of us..
From the get go. July 2021 to June 2022, Lia stayed in tough with us and when we arrived she got a taxi from the airport to her lovely villa. She was so helpful while we where there for 14 nights. She always had the answers to our questions. and would make suggestions. Thanks Lia for letting us stay at you beautiful Villa. We felt very much at home. Loved the area very much and all the gardens . It was very easy by bus to get to the train station, to the Vatican, and other sites in Rome.”
Jederzejt wieder germ!
Lia was so helpful during our stay with information about the neighborhood, bus schedules, booking our covid tests to get home, and many other things. Her downstairs apartment is a true 2 bedroom, unlike others who say there is 2 bedrooms but is only a 1 bedroom with another room that has a pull out sofa. The apartment was clean, the beds comfortable, the kitchen stocked well, with other things like an iron and a dish and clothes washer . It was a 12 euro taxi ride to the trevi fountain. She even gave us free bus tickets, but we couldn't figure out the bus, so took taxis. Watch out for the taxi to the airport though, almost 80 euros if you ask to pick you up! Bus and metro is only a short walk. A great place to stay and a great hostess!
Merci Lia
Right from my first inquiries Lia was always quick with a response. She welcomed us and even helped carried our bags into her lovely apartment. The place was a wonderful place to come back to after a busy day in the city. The bathrooms looked newly remodeled, the bedrooms had great air conditioning and lots of space for all of our things. The #60 bus that takes you into the heart of city is less than two blocks away.
Lia went above and beyond for us. She bought a fan for us to help cool the rest of the place down. She walked with us to show us where the market was and point out the bus stops and metro.
She called many taxis for us and gave us lots of recommendations. You can't go wrong staying here.
Lia's place was great! Check in was easy and Lia was so nice and helpful. We had trouble calling a taxi that understood where we needed to be picked up due to the language barrier and Lia was super helpful in calling for us the two times we needed it. She also had a folder set up giving us bus routes and restaurant suggestions. Her place was close to restaurants and cafes and only about 20-25 by taxi to get into Rome which worked really well for us

Why they chose this property
The house belongs to my family since 1950. My grandfather bought it and I grew here. During the years it has been restored and divided in 3 separate apartments. They are full of memories both from China and from Italy. I love the atmosphere and want to share it with my guests
