Our beautiful and well appointed and furnished house is full of local character and it is ideally situated in the calm part of Le Bois Plage, halfway between the best sandy beaches and the charming old harbour town of Saint Martin. It is well suited for you stay in all seasons, due to its location, comfortable furniture and fittings, central heating and open fire.
You will be comfortable as a party of 8 or 14, and you will enjoy the large patio and garden.

Our group has been blessed to stay here multiple times! This year was another great visit. The place is always well maintained and cared for. Well stocked kitchen and awesome views. Walter is GREAT to work with and very quick to respond. We had to modify our visit this year and Walter went above and beyond to help us make our visit work with our changing schedule! Lord willing, we will be coming back again next year,!

Family stay in Ile de Re

Great location - you can ride by bike through v quiet streets to the centre of Le Bois Plage within 10 minutes; also to S Martin within the same amount of time, through vineyards. Also well placed to get to lovely beaches through great ride through pine forest, not more than 15 mins ish. Property is spacious, lovely big lounge and dining room, various choices of bedrooms. Nice big kitchen. We had a very enjoyable stay, in a typical Ile de Re house.

A wonderful week

We had a fantastic time staying at this gite, with three generations of our family. The house is well equipped and very comfortable - and has lots of space for bikes to be stored. It is a short cycle ride to Saint-Martin, to the centre of Bois-Plage (where there is a market every day during the summer) and to the beach. We would recommend the house to other large family groups!

5 weeks multi-generational holiday

The property was perfect for the holiday we wanted. It was relaxed clean and big enough for our extended family and friends to holiday with us on varying weeks, over the 5 week period. The family who own the property were delightful to communicate with, and more than happy to help make our holiday an easy one. The property manager/contact was also very helpful and always there to answer any queries we had. If you are looking to hire bicycles then hire them in town. The bikes we hired via the property manager, had not been maintained. They were difficult to ride, one broke, another had a puncture! The cost was the same as those found in town, which we found to be well maintained and of a better quality. Having said that, nothing detracted from the wonderful time we had at the property and exploring the beautiful island. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Maison très agréable et propre. Au calme. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour en famille. Une suggestion : Les canapés et chaises mériteraient d'être changés pour le confort. Logement idéal pour notre besoin

Nous étions un groupe de 10 amis pour un WE et nous avons vraiment apprécié la disposition des lieux, avec notamment une cour intérieure nous permettant de manger dehors confortablement. Les équipements (cuisine, plancha, …) nous ont permis d’organiser nos dîners de façon optimale. Au niveau du couchage, la maison est vraiment bien organisée. Si vous n’êtes que des adultes, aucun pb pour les courts séjours. En outre, la propriétaire est charmante (contact e-mail uniquement) et la personne gérant sur place est vraiment sympathique.

Très beau gîte, agréable à vivre avec plein d'ouvertures et de lumieres naturelles dans toutes les pièces ! En dehors de la plancha gaz qui nous a fait défaut (les précédents occupants ont négligé de le signaler à la propriétaire), le sejour fut très sympa avec un beau temps au RDV et donc de bons moments à profiter de la terrasse. Hébergement proche de la plage (30 min à pieds).A recommander !

La maison est charmante, tous s'est très bien passé ! À noter cependant : la chambre cabine est indépendante et n'est pas reliée aux autres chambres, tout comme le dortoir. Ils donnent bien sur la cour principale de la maison, donc parfait pour les enfants autonomes mais pas pour les tout petits. La maison sinon est idéalement située, beaucoup de place pour ranger les vélos, la cuisine est bien équipée, nous avons passé un super séjour !

Séjour Puy de Sorelle

Nous avons passé un super séjour malgré la première semaine de mauvais temps et toute une série de désagréments logistiques à l’arrivée (plaque à induction HS, un parasol manquant, une dizaine de spots et ampoules grillées…) mais qui ont tous été réglés rapidement grâce à la disponibilité sans faille de Brigitte, la personne en charge de la gestion de cette belle maison, très agréable à vivre et super fonctionnelle pour une grande famille. Mention spéciale aux matelas super confortables ! La position très centrale, entre Saint-Martin et le bourg du Bois-Plage, qui nous inquiétait un peu sur le papier, s’est avéré un plus indéniable pour les balades en vélo…même s’il faut oublier l’idée de descendre à la plage à pied 🙂

Un tout grand merci pour votre gentil petit message sur notre site. Nous sommes toujours ravis que nos hôtes passent un agréable séjour chez nous. Désolée encore pour tous ces désagréments. Heureusement en effet que nous pouvons compter sur Brigitte. C'est pour ses interventions aussi rapides que nous apprécions tellement Brigitte (qui bichonne toujours nos 2 maisons sur l'île) et à qui nous avons demandé immédiatement d'intervenir pour vous faire parvenir une nouvelle plaque à induction. Mes filles font tous les ans un séjour elles-mêmes sur place pour tout réparer avant l'été et ensuite encore un second séjour pendant l'automne ou l'hiver ! Mais cela n'empêche malheureusement pas certains locataires de parfois sérieusement détériorer le matériel ... c'est d'ailleurs la raison pour laquelle nous avons cessé de prêter nos vélos "
