Downtown Historic District holiday rentals

We were very pleased with our rental which had lots of space and all conveniences. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the main tourist area and that was fine since parking in St Augustine is pain. It is only about three blocks from an excellent restaurant on the water, The Fish Camp but be sure to book ahead. The only downside was the long outside staircase to enter the apartment…no fun for the elderly or on a rainy day…the owners might want to provide renters a more explicit warning on this.

We, three adults, stayed four nights in this clean and neat small apartment. The property looked to have been recently repainted and had three new Smart TVs. The apartment is located close to the historic district and the Flagler college. The area is quiet. We were able to pretty much walk everywhere we needed to get to. Missing for those without a car as we were is a nearby supermarket. There were enough supplies of towels etc but there was no where to hang them up to dry and no dryer. A lock on the bathroom door would assist embarrassing moments. The provision of coffee and milk was welcome.
