A nice house

The house is in a nice location. The open plan downstairs is very nice and the lounge area has been updated with new sofas and TV since the photos. The kitchen is a good size and very well equipped, so easy to stay home and cook meals if you don't want to drive to eat out. The whole house was exceptionally clean. And the owner was very helpful. The only thing that let it down was the upstairs - The nice large shower room next to the master bedroom needs a toilet in it as the only upstairs toilet is a tiny room at the other end of the house.

Lovely Gite in country surroundings

Super property in very quiet and peaceful area. Very well equipped kitchen. Super woodburner. Disappointed to be informed just a week before arrival that there would be an additional charge for bed linen & towels. (Check listing) Meat etc left on barbecue from previous users. Overall, a very pleasant gite and area to visit.

Un havre de paix

Venus de Provence pour les commémorations du 80ieme anniversaire du débarquement en Normandie, nous avons adoré cette belle maison confortable, très bien équipée et au calme. Christine et Alain sont à l'écoute et très réactifs. Tout est parfait jusqu'au soleil lui aussi. Merci beaucoup pour avoir rendu notre séjour des plus agréables.

Super rustig maar nat

Heel leuk en ruim vakantiehuis met alle nodige voorzieningen en voldoende huisraad. De benedenverdieping is geweldig en dat was een geluk bij het slechte weer dat we de eerste week hadden. De tuin is netjes, ruim en volledig omheind. Het huis is uiterst rustig gelegen en het is een klein kwartier rijden naar de supermarkten in Vire. Jammer genoeg was het weer echt 'Normandisch' en zo hebben we niet optimaal kunnen gebruik maken van tuin en terras... volgende keer hopelijk beter!

Het huis ligt in een rustig gebied en heeft een mooie grote eigen tuin. Het is keurig netjes, schoon en voorzien van alle gemakken en bovenal heel ruim. Heerlijke plek als je met een groepje rust zoekt en redelijk centraal in Normandie gelegen zodat alles wel aan te rijden is. Skypark Normandie is met pubers en kinderen een echte aanrader

Traumhafte Unterkunft für einen entspannten Urlaub

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Das Haus ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für tolle Ausflüge. Der Garten ist komplett umzäunt, so dass auch die Hunde frei laufen konnten. Die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist ca 15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt in Vire. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen

Een mooi en schoon onderkomen. Veel informatie om dingen te ondernemen. Terugkomend van een dagje uit, heerlijk in de rust terugkerend. Er onderbrak aan niets. Vooral ook met mooi weer een luxe en rustgevende vakantie met een perfecte onderkomen.

La maison est spacieuse, fraîche et vraiment très bien équipée. Nous avons apprécié le calme des lieux et le grand jardin clos, un paradis pour nous et notre petit chien. Seul bémol: le gîte est un peu éloigné des plages et des sites à visiter.

Prachtige vakantiewoning in rustige omgeving

Dit gerenoveerd herenhuis heeft alles om een verblijf in la Basse Normandie compleet te maken. Ruime living en salon, goed uitgeruste keuken, slaapkamers met comfortabele bedden. Enkel de 2de badkamer is echt wel klein. Vanuit het vakantiehuis ben je op 2 minuten bij de kleine lokale winkelier (annex bar) waar je ook dagvers brood/koeken/gebak kunt bestellen. Een warenhuis vind je op 8 kilometer in Saint-Sever-Calvados en verder in Vire (17 km) en Villedieu-les-Poêles (22km) waar je ook heel wat gelegenheden vindt om lekker te gaan eten. Champ-du Boult is de ideale uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan de landingsstranden (100 - 150 km), aan Caen (80km) en Le Mont St Michel (60 km).

Fabulous stay

Extremely peaceful, well equipped Gite. In the middle of the countryside. So quiet. There are a couple of trees in the garden which provide shade. Lovely. 15 mins walk to local shop which sells fresh bread and croissants every morning, as well as all the usual supplies.

Kurzurlaub

Es ist ein sehr schönes, großes Haus mit toller Küchenausstattung. Sehr großer Garten, richtig gut geeignet zum relaxen. Liegt mitten im Land (etwas abgelegen), aber richtig gut. Kommunikation mit Alain war problemlos, alles in allem eine gelungene Urlaubswoche.

Despite rainy weather, we had a wonderful stay in this beautifully modernised gite. The house had everything we required and provided a very comfortable and relaxed stay. Lovely furnishings, immaculately clean and close proximity to the village. Suited our needs perfectly. Hope to be back soon.

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances en Calvados. Excellent séjour dans une très belle région! Accueil très gentil, beaucoup de documentation sur la région. Espace calme et agréable. agréable séjour au champs du bout

gite de vacance très agréable. état comme indiqué sur le descriptif, propre, aéré. à conseiller. proche de plusieurs attractions touristiques. le seul reproche à formuler serait d'indiquer le chemin d'accès à partir du bourg car comme ce sont des lieux dits, il n'est pas possible d'utiliser le GPS. on a résolu le problème en questionnant les gens du bourg.
