Restaurants nearby were good: Subway, Maui Icecream, Moose McGillicudy's. It was a very short walk to the beach to catch the beautiful sunsets. We especially enjoyed taking the tour around the complex to find all the listed flowers, trees, and shrubs on the map provided in the unit.

Great location

Cute little condo in a great location in Kihei. Easy beach access by foot or car. It was also nice to have access to a pool once the wind set in at the beach. Would definitely come back here!

2 adults and 1 teen: This was a perfect spot to base our week on the island. Really appreciated how many beaches were within a short walk or drive. Also coffee and amazing cinnamon rolls just up the road. Kihei was excellently located for driving to various destinations. Balcony let us see a piece of the ocean and studio was set up to easily enjoy breezes. It was also well stocked with gear for beach days, and being able to do laundry so we could pack even lighter. Neighbors were quiet and kind. Wifi was smooth, no issues connecting to work / scrolling social media. Facility included swimming pools, tennis, and pickle ball.

Cozy, comfortable quiet studio in great location

Petra and Terry were friendly welcoming hosts who responded immediately when we had questions or other issues. The studio is cozy, comfortable and quiet with good lighting and a beautiful breeze. We never needed to use the air conditioner. The location is ideal as the beach, restaurants, and shopping are a short walk away. The grounds are attractive and pools exceptionally clean. Everything is well maintained.

Fantastic Location

It was just my spouse and I staying this unit. It is all that you need on your trip. The activities closet is fully loaded so we were able to go out and enjoy our day at the beach with everything we needed. The building is in a perfect spot to be able to walk to the beach and some close amenities. We would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing vacation

We loved our quiet corner studio. The location was great. We could walk to excellent beaches, stores and restaurants. Petra’s condo had everything we needed and she was easy to communicate with. The bed and couch were both comfortable. We hope to stay there again!

Maui escape

Cute little condo. Excellent communication with the property owner. Directly across beautiful and popular Kihei beach. Condo had everything from full kitchen, washer/dryer and beach items such as chairs, towels and boogie boards. Great stay for a good price. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay!

Great little studio to use as home base in Kihei. Had pretty much everything we needed for our stay. Having the washer snd dryer in unit was very helpful . Short walk to beach to watch sunset and nearby restaurants. Had a nice deck which cooled down nicely in the evenings as it didn’t get the afternoon sun . The host Petra was very quick to reply with any inquiries I had ! Would recommend this unit !

The studio was perfect for two people. Great location for wonderful beaches andsnorkeling!

The pools , BBQs, and grounds are great. The condo was great except for the little couch; the cushions sink into the frame and makes it REALLY uncomfortable to sit on (we aren't large people). Otherwise the experience was great and very affordable. There isn't a view of the ocean but the lanai is comfortable to have coffee or cocktails. We would stay again...

It was our second visit to Petra & Terry's studio. And we will be happy to visit this wonderful place next year again. It is corner studio on the 4th floor, very quiet place. Never hot inside! There is an air-conditioner in the studio but we newer use it! Great location: steps to the best beach. Shops, cafes, restaurants - very close, you can get there by foot.

Incredible Hosts and Great Location

I cannot say enough about Hosts Petra and Terry. They not only are quick to reply, they both have hearts of gold. At a time when it wasn't looking good to find a room on Maui (Lahaina fire/devastation) Petra and Terry worked with me to get my daughter and her friend, who had lost their homes, into their lovely studio in Kihei. The location was Perfect and just across the street from the beach. Studio included kitchen as well as washer/dryer. It was everything we could have hoped for - and more! We are a couple from Washington which fell in love with Maui the first time we visited this amazing island. Ever since that time we are coming back and dream about retiring here. In 2014 we had the opportunity to acquire this beautiful condo where we can escape to for a couple weeks of the year. Kihei Akahi is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Super close to some of the best sandy beaches, located in the heart of Kihei with everything you need in walking distance. By car or bus, Kihei Akahi's central location is close to everything else this beautiful Island has to offer.

What makes this property unique

Only 2 minutes walk to the beach just across the street. A quiet corner studio with nice breeze on the 4th floor. Watch the sunrise from behind the mountains on your lanai while having your morning coffee. Since this gem is located on the east facing side, it stays cooler than most other condos.
