About this property

Charming Art-Deco style two bedroom and two bathroom cottage only 50 steps from famous Hollywood Beach and Boardwalk with amenities including barbeque on property plus swimming pool. Washer and dryer in unit. King Size bed in master , and also second bedroom. Beach chairs and towels provided also full linens and cutlery in fully equipped kitchen. Completely self-contained bungalow with parking space.

Check in usually at 3pm and check out at 10 am. Owner is flexible on times, depending on unit availability.

Absolutely fantastic location - can walk the Boardwalk to all beach restaurants and entertainment. Also Beach Trolley available to downtown Hollywood shopping and restaurants.

Free Wi-Fi and TVs in both bedrooms and living areas. Five star recommendations from previous guests.

House is remodeled with laminate floors, granite countertops in kitchen and bathrooms. Bathrooms recently remodeled and all linens,towels,cutlery provided

Owner is very amenable and has good recommendations. Many guests repeat their visits each year

Owners do not allow parties or gatherings in the home at any time or for any reason.

Minimum stay 5 night-

There is a queen size blow up mattress if kids do not want to sleep in Linz size bed together

Perfect for us.

The owner as very attentive to our needs, when the garbage disposal wouldn’t work causing the sink to back up. It was fixed in a few days, delayed because of the Christmas holiday. The beds were very comfortable, bathrooms roomy and perfect. The kitchen was stocked with cooked ware and dishes- way more than what we needed. (However, too many not sharp knives)There were beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella. This location is steps from the lovely beach and right beside the Broadwalk. What a great location! The pool was small but adequate. Rent this large cottage with its big dining table and great location.

Wonderful!

What a beautiful home! It has everything you need. Beach is just steps away. Lots and lots of restaurants and nightlife within walking distance. We had a great time and will be going back!

Great Location!

This is definitely a great location and nice to just walk out the door to the beach or the boardwalk. There were a few items that would have been helpful to have in the kitchen like trash bags, dishwasher detergent and extra paper towels.

Beautiful Beach House

The house was perfect for our family of four. It had an amazing location, that was steps away from the beach and boardwalk. The house provided all the beach towels and supplies we needed and a fully stocked kitchen. It was great being able to use the pool just outside the door. We could not have asked for a better trip.

Doesn’t get any better

Janet’s Beach House was the perfect getaway from the New England weather. The location was exactly as described, just steps to the Beach and Boardwalk. The house is completely furnished with everything you will need and is in immaculate condition. The pictures on the Web do not do it justice. Beds are very comfortable and the climate control system works beautifully. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back.

Great location!

My husband and I recently stayed a week at this location and let me tell you it was amazing! We were less than a two minute walk to lay on the beach. We walked the boardwalk every night that had something exciting going on. The house was absolutely amazing as well. It was equipped with everything you need. Mrs. Janet made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this location to everyone. We will definitely go back! ❤️

An amazing beach vacation!

We stayed at this wonderful bungalow for a week in mid April 2018. The distance from the beach cannot be beat! It truly is 50 steps away so it was easy to run back to the house for forgotten items or for lunch. The home has everything you need for your vacation. The kitchen is full stocked with pots and pans and the bathrooms have towels and hairdryers. Beach chairs, towels, and a cooler were available for the beach days. The location is perfect. Easy to walk the broadwalk to several restaurants/bars and stores but far away enough that it is really quiet. We also took advantage of the pool which never was never crowded. Although it is not needed if you plan to stay in the area - there is an Enterprise rental car store just over a mile away. The owner was easy to communicate with to answer questions and make recommendations for dinner (Nick's Bar and Grill is amazing and Taco Beach Shack has great deals). We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Janet for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful Location And Gracious Host!

We loved our stay at Janet's cottage which is literally 50 steps from the beautiful beach! Janet was very helpful with suggestions and brochures for dining and activities in the area. The cottage was very quiet at night and we had a great night's sleep on the two comfortable king size beds. Janet provided everything we needed for our stay and for the beach - including beach chairs, umbrella, beach bag, etc. The place was huge, comfortable, and very clean. Lots of room to spread out and feel at home. Highlights were Sunday morning Zumba on the beach - which I stumbled upon by chance! It is every Sunday at 9am right at the Harrison St. entrance to beach for $5.00 a class. What a way to start the day! On Sunday mornings there is also a farmer's market at Harrison St. and the beach which had lots of nice organic greens and fruits. This end of the boardwalk is quieter and away from the bars, which was perfect for us as the beach was less crowded. There are plenty of boardwalk cafes/restaurants just a few blocks north, with an endless variety of foods. The Hollywood boardwalk is ideal for those who like to walk, jog, bike, as well as for handicapped using walkers and electric scooters. We rented an electric scooter from Family Rentals - they deliver. We loved our day trip to Monkey Jungle in Miami! (So glad I saw the brochure you left, Janet!) You are able in interact with the monkeys and feed them. It was really fascinating and fun! Lots of traffic on roads to Miami, but we thought it was still worth it as it was so unique. They do have various staff led demonstrations throughout the day listed on their website. 2 hours is probably plenty of time to see everything there. All in all, a memorable week at Janet's lovely cottage!

As Advertised!

The property was so close to the boardwalk and beach! Property owner was very responsive to texts. Clean, and well equipped from the kitchen to the bed linens. King beds in both bedrooms Very comfortable. Both bathrooms with walk in showers. Beach chairs and plenty of beach towels. The swimming pool was heated and very clean. Will definitely go back in the future.

Hollywood beach house

This property was just what we wanted for a family vacation on Hollywood Beach. The house was neat and clean and had everything we needed. It is in a great location and we were able to enjoy the pool and the beach. We would definitely stay here again next time we are visiting family in the area.

Hollywood south central property review

Comfortable, well-stocked ( best I’ve seen), very close to beach and restaurants. The washer/dryers in the pool area came in handy, and the pool was a nice place to sit and read in the shade without the sandy mess of the beach.

Appropriately Advertised / Close to Beach

We felt that property was described appropriately. Location was very convenient to the beach. Janet was very nice and responsive. The house is large and has everything for your stay. The linens and towels could have been better quality. House was clean with only issue in the bathrooms where there was hair left in drains and on shower walls. The area itself is not as nice as Fort Lauderdale, St Pete’s beach and the restaurants/ bars on boardwalk were average.

Great location!

We had a bit of a snafu checking in, but Janet took care of it very quickly and after that the stay was perfect. You can not beat this location. If this cottage is available, do not pass it up. We had four adults staying and was very comfortable. One item is that the listing says the second bedroom has twin beds, but it is a queen or a king bed. I would definitely stay again!

A cozy beach cottage close to the beach

My husband and I, along with my sister and brother-in-law rented Janet’s home for a week and enjoyed our stay very much. You can’t beat the location and the home was clean with all the amenities we needed.

Fabulous!!!

The property is less than 1/2 block to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet at night. The unit is large & spacious, comfy furniture, great beds & pillows. The a/c is ice cold- mandatory in South Florida. Windows are sealed well, so no humidity seeps in. Kitchen is fully stocked, plenty of dining spaces. All the beach stuff you need; chairs, pool toys, towels etc. the swimming pool is nice, and has a shady sitting area. There is a beautiful bbq area, and the entire property is well maintained. I will definitely contact Janet on my next trip to Hollywood Beach. Loved the place. 😊
