About the host
Hosted by Marida Musso
Hello, I'm Marida Musso. I moved from Palermo just a few years ago and I live in the main house with my husband, my lovely dog and cats . I have a degree in Letter and I'm a teacher in Latin, Greek and Italian for students of Liceum and University. I like to warmly welcome the new guests and make them feel perfectly at ease. I am ready to meet their needs and solve small problems to make their pleasant and relaxing vacation, I gladly entertain in a fast and friendly conversation, I suggest them the most interesting tourist destinations and traditional Sicilian dishes and the popular festivals to see: the whole, without invading and always respecting their space and their time.
Somebody says that my enthusiasm for Sicily is infectious. I provided recommendations when my guests-friends ask and otherwise I let them enjoy their time in Italy.

Why they chose this property
My husbands and me has always been in love with the wonderful coast between Palermo and Cefalu' and decided to put here the home of my husband's Institute of Scientific research. Tourism activity is aimed at supporting scientific research. The 5 suites host tourists and scientists who want to collaborate with the Institute.

• disposable gloves and wipes

I love this home because of the romantic atmosphere: the ancient pink building immersed in a large mediterranean garden overlooked by the archaeological ruins of the ancient Soluntum, and overlooking the village of Santa Flavia with breathtaking views on the hils, the sea and the mountains around Palermo. You can touch the wonderful Monte Pellegrino and walk along the way to go to the duomo of Monreale. Because of the distance from the road (mt.200), the place is very peaceful but you can easily get to the lovely and clean village of Santa Flavia and the very pleasant harbour of Porticello with nice restaurants. Because of he near train line/station you can occasionally here a train horn, but they don't run late so it shouldn't disturb anyone - I actually like hearing the trains, they gave a romance to the place. Palermo is about 20 km and easily reachable by train too. I recommend this house strongly for who likes a good quality of stay in Sicily .I like to welcome my guests and they feel very much at home.
