Nestled on the north end of Harbor Island, South Carolina on a sleepy beach where gentle waves crawl upon the shore. There is a reason we are Harbor Island's most rented beachfront home. VIEWS VIEWS VIEWS!!! No home on the island comes close to offering you the breathtaking views seen from our home. Relax on the front porch and admire the surreal low country marshlands. Take in the awe inspiring St Helena Sound and Atlantic Ocean from the back porch. Soak in the picturesque vista of Harbor River from the north end of the house. Watch breathtaking sunsets from your balcony that can only be described as surreal. Folks arrive an hour early to get a spot on the beach just to watch it set but you have a front row seat from your porch! Every room offers unparalleled views. Seriously, pick a room and smile :). The beach at our house is sparse, quiet and calm. RELAX RELAX RELAX. It feels as though you are on your own private island. The home has it's very own boardwalk to the beach. Walk right out the back door to paradise. The house has 4 Bedrooms, 3 1/2 Bath plus outside heated shower for rinsing off the salt and sand, Sleeps 12, Downstairs Master (Beachwalk) on suite with King and views of the beach and entrance to screened in porch. Upstairs Master (Ocean View) on suite with King and private balcony with breathtaking views of the sound, ocean and Harbor River. Queen Bedroom (Sunset) with double bunk beds with amazing views of the Harbor Bridge. Another Queen Bedroom (Harbor Marsh) with double bunk beds with stunning views of the marshlands. Open floor concept with Kitchen (Stainless Steel Appliances), Dining Room and Living Room all with gorgeous views. Washer/Dryer, Four car garage, GOLF CART included FREE! A vehicle pass to SC State Parks (including Hunting Island) is also included!! Screened in porch with breakfast table. Eat your pancakes and watch the dolphins chase the shrimp boats as they glide by. Take your private boardwalk to beach and play, fish, kayak, bicycle or just relax. Beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, wave boards, beach toys, 2 Ocean Kayaks, rods & reels and various sporting equipment provided. Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Thank you so much for staying with us. Check out is at 10:00 AM. Place all used bed linens in a pile by their beds. Please start a load of towels. Load the dishwasher.
You will be automatically logged out of any streaming services. Place keys back in the outside lockbox. Make sure golf cart is plugged in and charging. Place garbage in outside garbage shed.
If you used the kayaks, please rinse them off and strap them back into place on the garage wall. Please follow any other instructions texted to you before your arrival.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Up to 2 car passes are included. The island charges approximately $13/day for additional cars which will be at the guest’ expense. No more than 4 cars
All cars must be parked in our garages, not on the grass or in the street or public parking, else fines will be incurred by the local authorities.

We had a fantastic trip the last week of December 2025. The host was communicative and provided tons of helpful information about the area. The house was just as described. Everything was neat and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had a great time exploring the beach and the nearby state park. This house was perfect for my family’s beach vacation. We love Harbor Island and this beach house made it that much better… quiet and secluded, we had the beach to ourselves sometimes! My Wife and I (Derrick and Roxanne) along with my brother and his wife (Travis and Sage) decided to embark on an adventure and build our oceanfront dream house. It was completed in 2014 in the beautiful low country of South Carolina on Harbor Island. We purposefully built our home with guest's creature comforts in mind. We wanted it to feel like you are sitting at home on your comfortable sofa while you're watching the waves crawl upon the shore outside your back porch. We built our home and had a very successful and fun 2 1/2 years and then along came Hurricane a Matthew. Our home was built so well it survived but we needed to rebuild much of it. Also, after the storm we had lost our dunes and needed to find a new lot on the island. We were blessed to be able to move our home to the best lot on the island. Built back to brand new and relocated. We are now at the sparsely populated north end of the island with views to die for. I am truly awestruck every time I walk into our home. Breathtaking vistas is not a strong enough statement to describe the beauty surrounding it. We love to spend as much time as we can there (living in Georgia we are only a short drive away) and we know you will love it too. We try to make sure that when you step into our house, you feel like you are home. We respond quickly to any issue you may have and we live by the motto 'do the right thing all the time.' Welcome to our home , the Hampton's.

Building this home has been a dream of my family and my brother's family. Completed in 2014, it is built with the strictest of codes, designed to handle mother nature and keep you comfortable. My brother and I have always loved South Carolina. Being from Georgia, we would take trips annually to our neighboring state and enjoy her beauty and hospitality, food and golf. We are so excited to be counted among her community and even more excited to share it with others. We know you will love the 'Low Country' as much as we do. Come stay at our home.... MILLION DOLLAR VIEWS EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK! No need to fight over who has the best room. Each one offers unique and awe inspiring views of the ocean, sound, river or marsh. Just steps out the back door onto your private boardwalk, brings you to one of South Carolina's most serene and untouched beaches. Dolphins make their morning and evening swim just outside of your porch. Shrimp boats ply their trade every morning just after sunrise. Harbor Island itself is recognized by the Audubon Society with it's teaming birdlife. Logger Head turtles nest on the shores every year. Truly an amazing island. This is why we built here and this is why our house is the perfect place to bring your family for a lifetime of memories. The first time you have your morning coffee on the screened in back porch while watching the dolphins chase the shrimp boats, you will be as hooked as we are. Every room in the house has breathtaking views. The back porches offer the awe inspiring vistas of the sound and the ocean. From the front porch admire the surreal beauty of the low country marsh. The north view gives you the scenic Harbor river bridge and world class sunsets. Absolutely amazing! Beaufort, only a few miles down the road, is the second oldest city in South Carolina and is the very embodiment of a 'Low Country' coastal town. It is so beautiful, many movies were filmed here including 'Forest Gump’, ‘The Prince of Tides' and 'The Big Chill'. If you love golf as much as we do, you will love the many golf course within a few minutes drive. Our house was built to allow not only us to enjoy all the low country has to offer, but you as well.
