Along the arcades, the towers are the most exclusive and famous stretch of Bologna.

Great location

Our host Caterina was lovely and very helpful. Great location downtown and close to everything you want and need to see. It was noisy during the night as the university was back in session and they were partying until the wee hours. It’s usually quiet during the summer time so don’t let that deter you! Would highly recommend 😃 Would also recommend a foodie tour !!! Get to see some amazing hidden gems and taste some authentic local fare.

Great location

Caterina"s ground floor apartment is in a great location for walking to the normal tourist destinations, restaurants and shops. She met us promptly on arrival, gave us a quick tour of the unit and we were good to go. Caterina lives close by so if there is a problem she is available to remedy the situation. Fortunately the unit was ready to go and everything worked without problem for us. We enjoyed our stay there.

Charming, light and spacious

This apartment makes you feel at home immediately. It is clean and bright and kept nice and cool by the thick walls and a fan. It is a relaxing space to return to and full of charm in this historic building with beautiful entrance area off the street. Caterina was great to communicate with ahead of time and she had prepared a helpful list of restaurants and attractions at the apartment. Lovely to have her smiling welcome. Location is excellent, in the heart of this beautiful, lively city. We wished we could've stayed longer.

Séjour Bologne

Un appartement idéalement situé pour apprécier et visiter à pied Bologne. Très propre, très bien aménagé, très calme avec des explications très pratiques à disposition pour le séjour afin de trouver rapidement les lieux et centres d'intérêts. Liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung im Zentrum von Bologna

Wir (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung. Caterina hat uns vor der Haustür eines wunderschönen Hauses mit Arkaden abgeholt und wir sind zusammen in eine Art Innenhof gegangen, wo sich im Erdgeschoss die Ferienwohnung befindet. Diese von Caterina geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit Deckengewölbe ist sehr gemütlich und absolut sauber. Caterina hat uns Getränke, Zwieback, Butter, Kaffee, Tee, ... hergerichtet, damit wir am nächsten Morgen frühstücken konnten. Die Gastgeberin gab uns noch viele Tipps, wohin man am Besten geht, wenn man Hunger oder Lust auf ein Eis hat. Die Wohnung liegt absolut zentral. Zu den zwei Türmen sind es ca. 2 Minuten zu Fuß, zum Hauptplatz Piazza Maggiore nur 4 Minuten und ebensolange zu unserer bevorzugten Eisdiele (Cremeria Sette Chiese in der Via Stefano). Herzlichen Dank an Caterina für die schöne Wohnung und den Magnet, den sie selber hergestellt hat. Wir können diese Wohnung absolut empfehlen.

La casa è veramente deliziosa, piccola ma in 4 ci siamo stati benissimo. Pulizia impeccabile e c'è tutto il necessario, inoltre collocata in un palazzo signorile bellissimo. Della posizione che dire? a 1 passo dalle 2 torri, più centrale di così!! Caterina è stata gentile, disponibile e discreta. La mattina della partenza eravamo un poco in ritardo nel lasciare la casa, ci ha aspettato con gentilezza e discrezione. Casa assolutamente consigliata!

Excellent place to stay. Convenient, really economical, great host!

We loved staying here. The place is centrally located, convenient to all the major attractions and bustling with life. Caterina was a great host, even helping us work out our car situation in which GPS led us down a pedestrian walkway. Yikes! We were thrilled with the place, particularly as it was really reasonably priced. I would note that we were just two guys riding bicycles through Italy; that is, we weren't looking for any kind of romantic interlude (I wasn't, anyway. Who knows what my old college buddy was after!) But this place was clean, spacious enough and Caterina was gracious to us. I would recommend it highly. (I suppose I should note that there was no air conditioning, but we were fine with the fans -- and it was hot when we were there. I only say that so you come mentally prepared if you are used to coooooold air conditioning.) Finally, I simply would add a "thanks" to Caterina. It is well deserved.

Comfortable and perfectly located apartment

Thank you to Caterina for all her help and great suggestions for getting the most from my stay in Bologna. The apartment was in a wonderful location. I loved being able to walk everywhere under the porticoes, being able to shop at the fantastic local market and come back to make lunch before going out again to visit the many interesting museums. It was cool and very comfortable. Caterina always responded promptly to any request and came up with lots of ideas about lesser-known things to do. She even came to call me a taxi when I was leaving. The only thing I would want more would be for a washing machine if staying for a long time. But otherwise it was perfect for my stay. It was very quiet for sleeping, despite being right in the centre. I would gladly stay here again when I return to Bologna. I had planned to visit surrounding towns but I found Bologna to be so interesting that I will save the other trips for another year.

Excellent apartment, well supplied in ideal location in the center of Bologna

Our stay at the apartment, Historic Center 2 Torri, could not have been better. It is perfect for two people. It is simply furnished but conveniently supplied with all the necessities for a week-long stay or less. Best of all, it is close to Piazza Maggiore, the University and the famous towers themselves. It is also only a few blocks from the open market which provides an outstanding choice of edible treats. Another plus is that it is on the first floor of a beautiful building but so quiet that you would never know you were in one of the most active and exciting parts of the city. Our thanks to Luca and Caterina who gave us a warm welcome and helped to both settle us in and send us off at the end of our stay.

Short but Nice

A friend and I recently stayed in this apartment for a couple of nights and it was very pleasant but very small. The apartment does have lots of character and is very comfortable. The bed in the bedroom is comfortable and there is a futon In the living area that is also quite comfortable. The location Is perfect. All the sights are within walking distance as is grocery stores and restaurants. The train station is also within walking distance but it is about a mile so if your lugging suitcases you may want to get a cab as we did. Very easy to get one if you call. If you don't call you need to find a taxi stand. We called and had one in just a few minutes. The kitchen is small but it was fine for two and we did cook dinner one night and breakfast. As stated in other reviews the shower is quite small and there Isn't a shelf for shampoo so you need to set it on the floor and bend over to pick it up which can be challenging in such a small shower. That was really the only downside and we managed just fine. There is a bar right next door but noise was not an issue even with the windows cracked open. Weather was very warm when we were there but the apartment stayed comfortable. Caterina was very helpful with information about the sights and was very nice to meet us at the apartment even tho our flight was very light. Loved staying there and would definitely return and would recommend to others.

Cute apartment! It has everything you need and plenty of storage space. The shower is very small but enough hot water. The location is super convenient to the downtown area! We took a cab to/from the train station (about 10 euros). Catarina was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

The apartment was perfect! It was centrally located to the old city, and on a quiet street. The apartment was very tastefully furnished and comfortable and well equipped, with large windows to let in the natural light. The description is very accurate. We wish we could have stayed longer than our one night. Caterina was extremely friendly and helpful in meeting us and explaining things. We followed her recommendation on dinner, and were happy we did--it was fabulous! We think it was a very fair price.

Magnifique séjour à Bologne dans cet appartement situé en plein centre de la ville dans un beau palais, et très confortable : tout est pratique et bien conçu, et la propriétaire est charmante et très accueillante.
