Come relax, unwind, and enjoy the mountains! Beautiful log cabin nestled in the woods on a secluded 5 acres with a pond. There are two enclosed bedrooms (each with a queen bed), a futon in the loft, and two sleeper sofas - one on the main level, and one in the basement. Two full kitchens, two and a half baths, and two wood burning fireplaces. Flat screen TVs with satellite service and WiFi. Wrap around deck, with a covered, rocking chair back porch overlooking the pond. Cabin is not child-proof.

We had an amazing stay at the Red Fox Den over Christmas. The cabin is in a great location - it feels secluded but is just a couple of miles from N Mills River Recreation area, 15 mins to the grocery store and a relatively short drive to Asheville. The cabin itself is extremely comfortable with 2 fireplaces, a wrap around porch, vaulted ceiling, etc. We stayed for 10 days and had everything we needed. The host was extremely responsive when we reached out. Overall, we highly recommend staying at Red Fox Den to experience all the Pisgah Forest / Ashville area has to offer.

This cabin in the woods was perfect. It felt really remote but was only minutes from all things WNC. It has that true log cabin feel and a great fire place. It was clean and well appointed. If you enjoy trees, wildlife, tranquility, and convenience then this is the place to stay. We will definitely book here again.

Very private getaway.

It was wonderful. Clean and a very pleasant retreat for us to enjoy. Really enjoyed sitting on the porch early in morning with temperatures in the 60s in July. I would definitely stay there again.

Family Vacation Week

Anne’s cabin was great. Five of us spent a week there for biking and hiking in the mountains and side trips to Asheville. Ate and spent our evenings hanging out on the back deck. Kitchen was well supplied, and the basement billiards room was fun.
