Very beautiful house with beuatiful view / very kind hosts

The house is very beautiful, big garden, big terrasse, beautiful view to the sea, very kind hosts, about 10 minutes by feet to the sea, beautiful little town (Villefranche-Sur-Mer), near to Nice, the check-in and check-out was very good, communication with the hosts was very fine. Thank you that we could have a so very nice stay :-)

Nice place well situated from center, beach and railway station.

Very pleased. Nice big house given both intimity and privacy. Nice spots to be seated both inside and in the garden. Well equipped with what you need to cook, wash etc.

🤔 wonderful stay

Close enough to walk old town, beaches and restaurants and yet distant enough to feel the privacy, the house is ideal for a group of people to be spending some time together. Easy to access by buss Monaco, Cap Ferrat and Nice, treasures of the Rivera. The house itself has kept the "soul" of the past, and it's hosts have been very gracious. We will be back.

Family holiday

The house has wonderful views of the bay at Villefranche sur mer. Outdoor spaces were perfect for the family, lots of space for the children to use and explore. The house is located near the train station and is only a few mins downhill walk to the beach. The bus to Nice or Monaco stops right outside so we didn't need a car. The ideal place for a family holiday.

Incredible view

We fell in love with this very unique property. It had everything you needed and the old town was so close. The uphill climbing was a bit strenuous however we are all in better shape than when we arrived. Thank you Diane and of course our villa owners Emmanuel and Christel🇫🇷

Family Vacation Perfection

This was a truly amazing property- perfect for the entire family, located within everything you would want to visit, and if you are into getting your 10,000 steps a day you will find this property location ideal. If you are not into walking or exercise this might not be for you- but otherwise you could not find a better place in the South of France. We loved it!!!

Beautiful property

We loved staying at this beautiful property and in Villfranche sur mer. The views were amazing. We had 3 families that included teenagers. Everyone was able to have enough space, and there were ample options within the house and outside for additional space. The location was magnificent. It was an easy walk to the train station and from there we could access Nice and the others coastal towns. We did not have a car and didn’t feel we needed one because of the train. The town is so quaint and charming and less hectic than the other towns. The beach is close but did get crowded. Out hosts were very helpful and accommodating.

Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt in Le Bastionnet. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 4 Erwachsenen und 4 Jugendlichen im Alter von 14-19 Jahren. Die Laufnähe in das schöne Örtchen Villefranche, die Restaurants, die Zug- und Bus-Verbindung nach Nizza, Monaco, Antibes etc. machten die Lage perfekt. Die Ausblicke über die Bucht sind einfach fantastisch.

Family Vacation In The South of France

I booked this home for my immediate and extended family. I was not there, but I was kept up to date throughout. The house was incredibly comfortable with gorgeous views over the Med. The family was 6 people in total, and they were very comfortable across the three levels of the home. My father and uncle are a bit older, and Diane, the house manager, was an incredible asset to their stay. When they got lost on the way to the house, she went and received them. When they needed guidance on what to do in town, she was there to direct them. When I needed assurance that my family was okay, she ensured me that everyone was in very good hands and that she was keeping an eye on them and their safety. The owners of the home Christel & Emmanuel are also great. The response times were a little delayed, but they always ended up replying with the information needed. They also require a security deposit, which worried me a bit because it was sent outside of VRBO, but they returned it in a timely fashion. All in all, the house was perfect for my family, and it was incredibly reasonable in price.

A brilliant week spent with our large family in a very spacious home, with the most beautiful views.

We had an incredible week, the outdoor dining area really made it for us, a huge space we could all enjoy meals together and our young kids loved doing laps of the balcony. Great location to enjoy Villefranche and the beach.

Magical month in Villefranche sur Mer

I spent one month here with a mix of friends and family, and we all agreed it is the nicest property in all Villefranche! Plenty of space for 6 to spread out, a spectacular private, terraced garden/yard with GORGEOUS views, an invaluable private parking area, and perfect location to reach the beach, vieille ville, markets and train. The house is well equipped and has a washing machine and great drying racks. Be aware that everything requires walking on steep hills. Good for the heart, as one older resident reminded me!

Spacious Villa with Beautiful views

We had 3 couples and three kids in the house. There was plenty of room to explore and relax. We had dinners in the garden most nights while looking out into the bay. The old town, beach, and a close downhill walk (the return required a little more effort), and the bus stop to the next towns and beaches were right outside one of the entrances. The private parking was a plus. The owners and the person who welcomed us were very helpful and nice.
