Vacances de rêve !

Nous sommes arrivés de Lyon avec des envies d'océan ! et quels plaisirs de se retrouver dans cette magnifique maison de famille avec une vue magique.Les enfants se sont vite emparés des chambres. Notre golden retriever regardait les bateaux passés depuis la terrasse toute la journée. Nous avons fait de belles randos. Nous sommes partis à pied de la maison pour gagner Saint georges de didonne, son marché, ses crêperies....la plage de Suzac par le chemin des douaniers permet également de s'évader après un déjeuner au restaurant de la crique de Suzac.Nous avons pu redécouvrir les blockhaus du champ du fort et flaner dans Royan.Six jours de rêve. Pas de draps à apporter ni de serviettes la maison est équipée ! rien ne manque ! une cuisine complète propre et bien pensée. Des livres disponibles de peinture, des romans pour tous les gouts. Le mobilier de jardin permet de belles siestes et la cheminée est très facile d'entretien....la propriétaire met à disposition le bois sec du parc.Merci à Kim également pour nous avoir bien accueilli une arrivée sans soucis de clé ou de bip de portail.

Belle maison de famille

Charmante maison de plein pied avec une grande terrasse bien équipée et vue sur l’estuaire.La plage de la crique de Suzac est toute proche mais nécessite cependant de longer le bord de route.Kim a été prompte à fournir un équipement manquant.Nous avons profité pleinement de ce bel endroit en pleine nature.

Bien malgres quelques couac

La maison est tres agreable joli et bien placée. La vue est execptionelle et la plage est à 5 minutes à pied. Petit bemol il y a une salle de bain et une douche d’appoint et non deux salle de bain comme annoncé. Kim qui nous a acceuillit a pris le temps de nous faire visiter la maison et a été disponible pour repondre à nos questions et resoudre les petits problemes rencontré. Evier de la cuisine bouché dès le dimanche matin ( probleme qui n’étonnez pas l’hote) probleme de chaudière ( qui n’a pas etonné le plombier qui est venu) Lave vaiselle lavant mal ( fin de vie) et probleme de parasol non adapter à la table . Problèmes que nous avons gentiment signalé à la propretaire qui nous a renvoyer dans nos 22. La maison, le cadre et la localisation reste cependant tres agreable et vaudrait largement le prix de la semaine si tous ces petits problemes d’entretein avait été reglé avant la saison

Parenthèse enchantée

Cette maison est cachée dans un parc immense, campé sur les falaises de la pointe de Suzac, là où l'estuaire de la Gironde se jette dans l'océan. La vue sur la mer est merveilleuse et s'accompagne du chant des centaines d'oiseaux qui peuplent le jardin. La villa est très agréable à vivre, très chaleureuse et accueillante. Les bibliothèques regorgent de trésors pour qui aime lire, le piano est accordé, la cheminée est très simple d'utilisation et fonctionne très bien, la literie est de bonne qualité et la cuisine est très bien équipée, idéale pour les amateurs de bons plats. On s'y sent comme chez soi et on rêve d'une maison de famille telle que celle-là !

Wunderschöne Lage aber ...

Die Lage und die Aussicht von dem Haus sind einmalig. Es ist ein Traum auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Der Garten ist riesig und es ist sehr schön, dass man gleich vom Garten weg spazieren gehen kann. Leider gibt es fast keine Möglichkeiten seine Kleidung, Schuhe und Sonstiges unter zu bringen. In einem Schlafzimmer gibt es eine Aufhängmöglichkeit (von ca. 50 cm Breite) plus ein paar Fächer von denen die meisten gefüllt sind. In diesem Schlafzimmer befindet sich die abgebildete Galerie, diese ist mit einem Leintuch abhängt und die Leiter neben dran aufgehängt. Zwischen den hinteren zwei Schlafzimmern gibt es noch einmal so eine Aufhängmöglichkeit, von der selben Größe plus voll gefüllte Regalböden. Ein Schlafzimmer hat überhaupt nichts, wo man etwas aufräumen oder aufhängen kann. Im dritten Schlafzimmer ist ein Sideboard in welchem man 2 Fächer zugewiesen bekommt. Wir waren 6 Personen und mein Mann und ich mussten den Urlaub aus dem Koffer leben. Zum Glück haben wir das dritte Schlafzimmer nicht gebraucht und konnten da unsere Koffer auf das Bett legen. Die Liegestühle sind aus Holz und leider gibt es keine Auflagen dafür, was mit der Zeit sehr hart wird. Die Küche hat leider keine Arbeitsfläche. Leider ist auch die Spülmaschine kaputt, es fehlte der obere Sprüharm. So wurde das Geschirr oben natürlich nicht sauber und untern auch nur schlecht, da anscheinend noch eine Scherbe im Abflusssieb war. Leider war dadurch auch ein großer Teil des Geschirrs im Schrank nicht richtig sauber. Und wir durften viel Geschirr spülen. Ebenso war am Gasgrill das Ventil zum Anschluss an die Gasflasche defekt. Beides haben wir dem Vermieter geschrieben aber leider kam darauf keinerlei Reaktion.

Top qualité de l'hébergement, de son équipement, de son jardin immense, de sa vue exceptionnelle, de son environnement,... Belle plage à 100 m et excellent restaurant. Commerces à proximité en voiture. Pour les amateurs, centre équestre juste en face. Nous gardons un très bon souvenir de ce séjour.

Très belle maison, lumineuse et bien meublée, Pas de vis-à-vis. Avons vécu un sejour très reposant en profitant de la grande terrasse bien equipeée surplombant une vue exceptionnelle sur l'estuaire. Un bémol : manquent des petites informations sur l'utilisation de certains appareils (lave-vaisselle, TV et Hi-Fi,... ), ainsi que sur l'ouverture manuelle du portail quand le bip bip ne fonctionne pas...

Erholung für die Seele!

Wir (4 Erwachsene + 2 Jugendliche -18+15) haben den Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Domizil genossen. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die 4 Schlafzimmer sind großzügig - leider zu wenig Stauraum für die eigenen Sachen. Bettwäsche für kalte und heiße Tage sowie Handtücher in allen Größen sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die beiden Bäder (ein Duschbad mit Toilette, ein Bad mit Wanne - eine Toilette ist zusätzlich direkt am Eingang) sind ok. Im Duschbad gibt es im Prinzip keine Ablagemöglichkeit, im Bad mit Wanne nur eingeschränkt. Die Küche ist vollkommen ausgestattet - Nespressomaschine inkl. Einziges Manko ist der hohe Kalkgehalt des Wasser, so dass sowohl Geschirr und auch Besteck immer mit leichter Kalkpatina überzogen sind. Der Gasherd ist für Hobbyköche wundervoll. Backofen, Mikrowelle, viele Töpfe und Pfannen in verschiedenen Größen und Ausführungen machen das Kochen zu einem Erlebnis. In der offenen Wohnküche mit großem Essbereich gibt es eine wundervolle Musikanlage mit diversen CD's aus allen Musikrichtungen, Fernseher und sogar eine Wii, so dass auch dort keine Wünsche offen bleiben. Zusätzlich ist ein Klavier vorhanden. Da unsere Tochter Klavier spielt, konnte sie sogar im Urlaub üben. Die Sitzecke mit Sofa und diversen Sitzgelegenheiten ist super bequem. Das Ambiente lädt zum Träumen ein - die Holzterrasse rund um das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz sich zu sonnen, eine Hängematte und ein Hängestuhl bieten unter Bäumen schattige Plätze. Dazu gibt es eine Sitzgelegenheit zum Draußen essen. Ein Gasgrill macht die Ausstattung perfekt. Das Arreal ist so groß, dass Platz zum Spielen ist. Für kleinere Kinder sind Rutsche und Schaukel vorhanden. Eine Tischtennisplatte mit sämtlichen Zubehör ist da. Der kleine Sandstrand ist in ca. 3 - 5 min über den Weg an der Straße schnell zu erreichen. Der weitläufige Sandstrand mit Promenade ist ca. 1/2 Std. zu Fuß entfernt, an der es auch diverse Restaurant gibt. Im ca. 8 km entfernten Royan sind alle großen Geschäfte. Auch der tägliche Markt in der Halle (außer montags) mit frischen Produkten aus der Region lädt zum Schlemmen ein. Dieses Haus bietet alle Möglichkeiten sich komplett zu erholen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter ist unkompliziert und der Empfang ist herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen und würden auch sofort wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Urlaub.

Wunderbares Haus mit schöner Einrichtung, riesigem Grundstück direkt am Wasser - traumhaft

Wir waren über Sylvester/Neujahr für eine Woche in diesem schönen Bungalow mit großem Holzdeck und allem Komfort untergebracht. Die Einrichtung ist komplett; vor allem auch Hobbyköche werden es lieben. Es ist genügend Platz für 8 Personen (vier Doppelzimmer) - auch für Familien mit kleineren Kindern sicher gut geeignet. Das große und sehr gemütliche Wohnzimmer ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Musikliebhaber werden die Musikanlage schätzen. Es gibt reichlich CDs und auch mehrere Filme, u.a. eine Truffaut-Sammlung. Wir haben das Kaminfeuer genossen - Mme Roullet hat uns spontan das im Schuppen lagernde Kaminholz angeboten. Der Blick wandert über einige Pinien nach Südwesten den Grashügel hinunter zum Wasser - das Haus ist auf einem riesigen, zum Teil schön verwilderten Grundstück und uneinsehbar direkt an der Mündung Gironde/Atlantik. Ein kleiner schmaler Wanderweg führt unterhalb des Grundstücks nach St.Georges-de-Didonne zu einem langen Sandstrand, in der anderen Richtung befindet sich ebenfalls eine (sehr viel stillere, aber auch) kleinere Bucht mit Sandstrand (Plage Suzet) und kleinem Restaurant. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind reichlich vorhanden. Wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen und vor allem auch im Sommer diesen Juwel erleben. Der Reiz sind auch die Nähe zu Bordeaux, zur Dordogne und Entre-deux-mers-Gegend, die 30-60 min entfernten schönen wilden Atlantikstränden westlich von La Palmyre und südlich um Lacanau, die Möglichkeit im Garten ungestört zu sonnen, zu grillen, zu faulenzen, Tischtennis zu spielen. Rundum empfehlenswert.

Ein Ort zum Seele-baumeln-lassen

Ein tolles Haus mit persönlicher Einrichtung, welches wunderbar gelegen ist. Der nahe Strand eignet sich wunderbar auch für kleinere Kinder, da der Sand sehr fein ist und es sehr flach ins Wasser geht. Der unterhalb des Hauses gelegene Küstenweg und auch der oberhalb gelegene Wald laden zu Spaziergängen ein und der etwas entferntere Ortskern mit dem Markt zum Bummeln. Auf dem großen Grundstück und der schönen Holzterrasse findet jeder ein Plätzchen zum entspannen mit einem tollen Blick auf die Gerondemündung. Auch die Musikanlage mit den vielen CDs hat zu einer guten Stimmung beigetragen. Alles in allem, ein perfekter Ort zum Urlaub machen.

Excellent séjour à recommander

Tout d'abord l'endroit est magnifique avec accès direct au petit chemin qui longe la mini falaise vers la plage. La terrasse au soleil avec vue apaisée et apaisante sur la Gironde. Donc envie de vivre dehors. A l'intérieur, rien ne manque. Bien équipé, moderne, nous avons facilement cuisiné pour six personnes. Pas de bruit, des voisins sympas (beaucoup de gros oiseaux, un lapin de garenne). Un séjour très reposant. Le marché couvert de Saint Jean de Didonne fournit de très bons produits locaux.

A house in a million!

This house was a dream come true. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay so comfortable, you don't want to leave! Yet is also has great personality, which is charming, and makes you feel both soothed and energised. You can play table tennis, bat and ball, bike or just laze on the terrace or in the hammock reading your book - all are OK. The commanding aspect is magnificent and, as it's such a short stroll to the beach, days stretch out feeling longer than they are, as you can be on the beach until the last rays of sun have dipped, then barbecuing not even 10 minutes later. The outside table is perfect for candlelit dinners with the family, or stargazing late into the night. There's tons to do in the area - restaurants, lots of other beaches to explore, as well as Royan and the Medoc across the water by ferry. All possible, even by bike. We've stayed in lots of other houses in this area, but none come close to this for the perfect summer escape.

Le séjour dans la maison à Suzac estait magnifique!! Le vue est incomparable et tout nous a très plu! La maison est tout à fait splendide et très bien équipée. Elle n'est qu'à cinq minutes à pied de la plage et la vue de la terrasse est époustouflant. Elle est aussi une bonne base pour explorer les environs. Enfin, elle représente tout ce que l'on cherche afin de passer de bonnes vacances en famille.

un lieu unique en bord de mer

j'ai passé un séjour génial avec des amis; la maison correspond exactement au descriptif et était très propre nous avons pu apprécier son confort et sa convivialité, l'environnement est magnifique et à deux pas des plages pour de grandes balades avec le chien Le village tout proche (saint Georges de Didonne) est vivant même hors saison, nous avons découvert un restau italien délicieux que nous avait conseillé la propriétaire qui est très accueillante bonne adresse pour des super vacances entre amis (ou en famille)

Charming house in the woods

This is a dream house! Set in a magnificent spot high above the beach just below, it offers great comfort, as well as an elegance you don't often find in this area. Every effort is made to ensure you are comfortable, from the many lounge chairs on the deck, to the beautifully appointed kitchen, to the remote-controlled shutters, which make leaving the house safe and secure easy and quick. The table tennis was a bonus. A real find!

"Les photos ne rendent pas totalement honneur à la vue sur la mer, bien plus magique encore. nous y avons séjourné par beau temps comme par pluie et la maison était parfaite. confortable, bien équipée, tout est conforme à la description et il y a même quelques belles surprises comme deux chambres qui ont une vue imprenable et un portillon qui s ouvre sur une ballade magnifique ... très bien accueillis dans un simplicité bienvenue, nous avons adoré notre séjour merci encore"
