About this property

Villa with private pool & enchanting garden | beach & golf 5mins | Lisbon 20mins

Family house with private pool and a charming large garden. Located in a very quiet residential area, ideal for families with children.

Interior: 120m2 house, 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 twin or double), with the possibility of an additional bed and/or cot. 2 complete bathrooms, 1 living room with fireplace and sofa with chaise longue. Fully equipped, fully electric kitchen with dining table for 8 people.

Outdoor space: The garden surrounding the house and the pool has sun all day and plenty of privacy for sunbathing. We have large trees and a covered terrace that also allow you to enjoy the garden during the hottest hours.
With charcoal barbecue, wood oven and dining table with direct access to the kitchen. Play area for children with swings and house in the side garden and laser space with foosball table.

Services & places of interest in the area: Located 5 minutes walk from a supermarket, hairdressers, medical clinic, cafes/restaurants and laundry.
A 5-minute drive from the best beaches in the Lisbon area, with lifeguards, good beach bars & restaurants with fresh fish and the possibility of practicing various water sports. The bars next to the beach (Fonte da Telha, Morena, Costa de Caparica) are also open at night: with music (concerts), dancing and karaoke, or simply for socializing while listening to the sea or contemplating the stars.

Lovely House

My family and I had a great time at this house. The host met us on arrival to show us around and were contactable during throughout our stay if we required any assistance. The garden and pool were great fun, we have children ranging from 7-15 and they all found something they could do. We hired a car, but very easy to get around by taxi using uber. Supermarker up the road. 25 mins from Lisbon, 30 mins from praia do portinho da arrábida (beach). Thoroughly enjoyed out stay. Like a home from home.

Wonderful Time

We had a wonderful time in this place. Swimming pool is great, house is spacious and the barbecue and hooves did wonders. The owner was very friendly and accessible. The house is located very close to Supermarkets and you can ride a bicycle to the beach. Around 10 min by car as you can see in the map. We thank a lot for the hospitality and hope to see you soon

Un très bon moment !

Maria et Philippe ont été charmants et très accueillants. Jardin et piscine très sympas. Maison standard mais propres et foctionnelle. Très bien pour les vacances. Quartier avec beaucoup de maisons en construction donc un peu de bruit le matin tôt. La voiture est indispensable mais si vous voulez visiter Lisbonne et ses environs en profitant des plages de costa caparicca c est parfait !!

Friendly and helpful hirer, but house with deficiencies

Usually I am not writing evaluations, because the cottages ( which has been a lot in different countries) always met my expectations and I was too comfortable to confirm existing recommendations. But in this case I have to write something. Positive: + hirer has been very friendly , helpful and easy to contact + the kids enjoyed the pool + with a hired car you can get easily to Lisbon by taking the ferry in Casilhas (20 minutes to Casilhas, 1 Euro for parking a full day) + 6 to 10 minutes to get to the beaches by car and the beaches are really not bad! + 85 minutes to get to Evora (which is worth a visit!) Negative: - the house smells musty, was cold and wet - dishes, glases, cutlery, barbeque grill was dirty. Nearly everything in the kitchen has to be cleaned before using - a dirty cupboard - mold in the freezer - mold on the kitchen table , in the tablecloth and seat cushion (kitchen) - rusty burner - garden has an edge full of trash Despite this long list of issues I give two stars, because the hirer always try to fix it and they give us a financial compensation. And I had the impression that the house is usually not in this condition. I guess it was empty for some time and it has not been ventilated regularly. And maybe the hirer did not control the kitchen after the last tenant.

Tolles Haus mit sehr freundlichen und entgegenkommenden Vermietern

Das ruhig gelegene Haus bietet alles, was man im Urlaub so braucht: viel Ruhe, Platz, interessante Einrichtung und vor allem einen traumhaft schönen Garten mit großer Terasse und Pool. Die Lage eignet sich sowohl für Strandurlaub (6 km bis zu den schönen, 25 km langen Atlantikstränden), als auch für die Erkundung Lissabons (am besten mit dem Auto bis Conchilhas und dann mit der Fähre übersetzen). Allerdings braucht man einen Mietwagen, sonst wird´s mühsam mit Strand und Stadt. Mein Tipp: niemals mit dem Auto nach Lissabon, dort gibt´s ein super ÖPNV-Netz. Danke an Francesca und Felippe für die Gastfreundschaft.

Un séjour reposant

Nous avons passé 2 semaines chez Fernanda. Merci à elle! Obrigada! La maison est ancienne mais toutes les commodités sont présentes. Elle est spacieuse et agréable. Le seul petit hic, la propreté du frigo et des placards de la cuisine à notre arrivée! Sinon, tout était propre. Le jardin est très agréable, apaisant. Même en plein après-midi, vous trouvez un coin de fraicheur pour la sieste et ça, c' est un bonheur! La piscine est le grand plus! Pour avoir fait plusieurs locations, une piscine dans son propre jardin en plein mois d' août est génial! Les enfants y sont toute la journée et les adultes aussi! Le quartier est très calme, juste les fêtes populaires aux alentours que l' on entendait, un peu bruyant, mais c' est le pays! Je recommande cette maison!

Charmante maison

La maison est charmante et super agréable. Elle est située à 20 kms de Lisbonne. Il y a tout ce dont on a besoin pour passer de bonnes vacances. Il n'y a pas de bruit. Le jardin est charmant et tranquille. C'était vraiment très très bien.
