What makes this Cabin unique
The unique benefits of the Ranch include the wildlife that inhabit the property, the pair of red tailed hawks that take up residency every year, the awesome mountain vistas, the clean air, the clear night sky, the get-away-from-it-all setting. Hearing the morning and evening sounds from the wetlands conservation area that borders the property will connect you with nature and refresh your spirit.

No frills, great location!
This is a historic cabin with a nice fridge and microwave. No running water in the cabin. The bathroom is a short walk away outside the cabin and is very nice. The cabin needs some basic improvements in windows and screens so flies don’t get in as much and furnishing could improve for added comfort. The porch could use good, sturdy seating to enjoy it more .The top bunk is very hard to get on because the ladder is too small and the bottom one feels lopsided. The single bed is great with the much needed drawers. All in all we had a very good time, we made our breakfast, hiked all day, ate out, and had great baths and slept well. Location and privacy are the big pluses of this place. The property managers are wonderful, took care of detail on their own initiative such as placing lavender strips for fly control, or changing our towels, or turning on the fan to cool the cabin before we arrived. Thumbs up for Dan and Lila.
Great place! Saw a bear on the first night.
Chaps and spurs
Second time renting chaps and spurs. It serves our purpose very well. Dan was great as well
Peaceful and beautiful
Will be back
Convenient place to stay near GNP
No frills, clean base camp, wish there had been a stove to cook on.
Babb ranch stay
Quiet and beautiful spot. We stayed in the bunkhouse, which was like a summer camp experience. Very cozy and comfortable. Updated wash cabin next door. All very clean.
Friendly and knowledgeable hosts, Dan and Lila, are readily available, if needed.
Quiet retreat close to Glacier National Park
The "Chaps and Spurs" bunkhouse is located in a beautiful setting on a ranch outside of Babb, MT. All the basics are there, and I enjoyed viewing birds and wildlife from the front porch. Dan and Lila were extremely attentive and helpful hosts.
