Menehune Shores #425 is an oceanfront ocean view unit with a gorgeous view of the ocean. It is a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with split system A/C (6-hour timer) in the living room and both bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and internet service. There is a king bed, 2 twins, and sofa bed in the living room. The living room also has a 55-inch flat screen T.V. This unit has a powerful split system AC (6-hour timer) in the living room and both bedrooms. Menehune Shores #425 sleeps 6.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

Menehune Shores is conveniently located on the main beach road with easy access to some of the island’s best beaches, shopping in South Kihei or Kahului, and scenic drives to Lahaina /Kaanapali. This property is uniquely situated adjacent to the historically important 16th century Alii (Royal) Fish Pond of Kalepolepo. Protected by offshore reefs, the pond provides safe swimming for children and those wishing to avoid heavy surf. Additionally, there is a solar heated swimming pool with barbecue grills on both the ground level and on top of the roof. The rooftop also offers some of the best views on this side of the island. There is a full bar & Indian restaurant on 1st floor/ATM for your convenience.

Great condo in a good location. Easy access to the beach, close drive to restaurants and activities. Loved the beach amenities stocked in the condo. The view from the balcony was great. Top notch communications with the manager for check in. Overall, a great place for our family to stay!

Great location on Maui

We had a wonderful stay in this Maui rental during a vacation with our adult children. The home was comfortable, well-equipped, and had a lovely water view. It was also conveniently located for all the activities we wanted to do around the island.We really appreciated the thoughtful extras like beach chairs, towels, and a cooler—these made our beach days so easy and enjoyable.Some of our favorite experiences included driving the Road to Hana and snorkeling at Honolua Bay, which was just a convenient drive away—much easier than booking a snorkeling cruise. Although we weren’t able to get reservations for the Haleakalā sunrise, we caught a stunning sunset there, and the drive was very manageable from the property.Overall, this was a great home base for our Maui adventures, and we would absolutely stay here again!

Great location with easy access to various Kihei eateries and shops. The fish pond is great with the kids and the heated pool was also nice. The apartment itself fit our needs. Furniture is outdated and the floors, screens, and some of the drawers could use a good cleaning and dusting. However, apartment overall was comfortable and view was great. We'd have no problems staying here again.

Great Holiday in Maui

Stayed for 12 days at this location in Kihei! First time staying at this condo complex. Place was perfect for us and our two adult children. Perfect location on beach with a great view off our deck. Walking along beaches was outstanding (turn left to walk along Sugar beach, or right to walk along beach into central Kihei). Two bathrooms worked perfectly between 4 adults. Will happily stay here again!

Paradise

We loved the unit It was exactly as the pictures showed. We watched the sunset over the ocean and could hear the sounds of the ocean. Nice swimming beach and very private. Great location in the center of Kihei. It was a little warm without ac but plenty of fans. Loved having the window s open and loved the breeze. Met other people who return every year to this condo. We certainly would. Aloha Maui!

The property was clean and had all the home goods we needed for our stay. They even provided boogie boards, chairs, a cooler and extra beach towels for our beach days. The location of the property is great. Close to many restaurants and easy to get to the airport and other towns. There are many beaches nearby, especially the one right on the property. The only downside was the bedding on the twin beds and the sofa bed were not very comfortable. Otherwise we would gladly stay again and recommend this property to others.

Family Spring Break

The unit was very much as described. We were right on the ocean and able to go to sleep to the sound of the waves. We saw sunrises and sunsets right off our patio. We had six people and our oldest used the pull out couch and then the three girls were in the second bedroom using the blow up air mattress in the unit along with the two twin beds. Everything worked as it should, it was centrally located and we walked on beach every morning. There are also beach towels, cooler, and beach chairs to use. Well worth it for the price.

Beautiful spot in paradise

We had a great stay at menehune shores! We have stayed in many vacation rentals in Kihei and also used to live just blocks from here. The condo had everything we needed, and the property managers were willing to bring something if they didn’t have it on site. Check in was a breeze as well as communication with the property management during our stay. We had a maintenance issue that was addressed and fixed super quickly. Didn’t impact our stay negatively at all. Tons of beach equipment, towels and things to enjoy Maui Beaches. I loved the proximity to the beach in front of the condo. Perfect for morning walks and sunset. Great AC, though the timers were a bit of a bummer at night as we woke up hot and had to turn them back on. Having lived in Maui I completely understand energy costs, so I understand why they would have them. Again, no biggy, the AC worked great! Overall we had a great time and would absolutely stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location, layout & amenities were great & as described. However, much work is needed in the unit. The shower door is falling apart in the main bathroom, the towel bar kept falling off the wall & the kitchen was not clean. The fridge was filthy on the outside & many of the dishes were put away dirty. That could be because the dishwasher was filthy inside as well. First thing I had to do wash wash all the dishes. There were small ants inside the cupboards (maybe because dishes weren't cleaned properly). We just kept all the food in the fridge which was clean inside. The linens are very worn & some of the towels had hole in them. We paid a lot of money for a unit in this shape. The oven was nice & clean & washer/dryer worked fine. They did provide 4 beach chairs in good condition & a small cooler as requested. The unit just needs proper maintenance & it will be fine. No personal contact with owners, just booked online & checkout online. Loved the rooftop view & BBQ's up there. Pool is nice too & very clean. Overall, I would definitely stay in this building again but not in this unit!

Perfect location and very well kept complex. The room was basic but all a person needs. The washer could be replaced as it does not clean the dishes very well, and the front door needs to be repaired as it does not seal at the bottom at all.

Communication with host was good.Very well located.We never got the the parking permit because we got there after office closed and rest of the days we were out exploring and never got it, but no problem we always left a note. Hope it was easy for next visit and no have to worried about parking.

Spring Break

We had a great stay. The kids loved being able to just go to the beach or pool at their leisure. There were plenty of supplies for us in the condo for our needs. We especially loved having the cooler to be able to pack lunches and snacks to have in the car during our different excursions.
