Splendid Lake Maggiore villa, built on one level, immersed in the beautiful park of “Lagoni di Mercurago” just a few kilometers from Arona on the western side of Lake Maggiore. The villa rental, built in the 1960’s by a famous architect, has recently been restored and refurbished in a modern style and from many points on the estate, especially from the large garden, it is possible to enjoy magnificent views of the lake and the medieval fortress of Angera on the opposite shore. The building of about 600 square meters consists of a main circular section, containing a very large sitting room that was once a dance hall, and two wings with identical hallways leading to a large dining room and the bedroom area. The result is a house with a spectacular structure in the shape of an airplane. The interiors are spacious and light, with a varied range of colours, although white dominates. Outside guests have at their disposal a swimming pool (12x5)(15/05-30/09), well kept garden with a nice covered patio. Compulsary domestic help is included in the price (10 hours per week). Central heating. Parking. PLEASE NOTE: Arrivals must be between 4.00pm and 7.00pm (arrivals after 8.00pm are charged a supplement of 50 Euros.
